I’ve updated my review from 5 stars to 3 stars for now, though I may raise it later as I finish learning the paycheck collector strategy. Some frustrations : The Bounce Strategy taught in the course training video uses some different indicators than what the coaches use and teach during live trading sessions and coaching sessions. ( Some indicators are the same like the volume indicator) It’s fine that coaches use different tools, but it was a little frustrating after spending so much time working through the bounce strategy training videos to learn it one way, only to jump on live calls and find out the coaches we meet 1 on 1 with don't trade it that way. Another thing that's been difficult for me is there's no consistent rules when it comes to trade management/ stop losses. I know to make it long-term in trading you need to have proper risk management. Whether you risk 1 to make 2 or risk 30% of your option contract and have a take profit of a 60% gain on the option contract etc... everyone's a little bit different so I'm trying to dial my own strategy in. That said, Coach Elliot is amazing and has been a huge help to me and has taught me his bounce strategy with his indicators. It can be hard to find solid Bounce setups on stocks that actually have open interest and option liquidity. Because actual tradable Bounce and Breakout setups on the daily/ weekly chart seem to be so rare, I’m going to focus on learning the other strategies taught in the course to see if I can use those to make money while waiting for those perfect bounce setups that actually have liquidity. A couple of final thoughts for anyone considering the program: On the Marketing: It’s great seeing success stories like the student review where she made 80ishk on the bounce / breakout strategy within 6 months with a $10,000 account. While I haven't verified it personally, the vibe I get is that she got lucky riding the post-COVID bull run when everything was shooting up. Turning results like that without strict risk management isn't a realistic long-term strategy. I would like to confirm with her where she put her stop loss on each trade to protect her downside and where she put her take profit. I messaged her quite a while ago but haven't heard back. Lastly, the coaches are nice and will do what they can to help but just be realistic about everything. It's going to take some time to really learn things and apply them. I spent 6k for the training/ course in March 2026 so about 6 months ago and so far haven't made any money. I will update this if I do. Having taken numerous courses to build various skills, I found this particular course to be somewhat overpriced. Yes, it covers the basics—reading trends, candlestick patterns, volume analysis, and using tools like Fibonacci retracements and moving averages. It also teaches foundational options strategies, including single-leg and spread trades, along with risk management techniques. However, like with most educational content, learning the theory is only the first step; applying it successfully in real-world trading is much more challenging. What makes this course stand out are the one-hour daily live market analysis calls and one-on-one coaching sessions—special thanks to Elliot, Erin, and Leo for their guidance! The course is well-structured, and the coaching calls are genuinely valuable. Still, whether it's worth the price tag of over $5,000 is something only you can decide. Personally, I believe many people might be better off in the long run by simply investing that money into a total stock market ETF. It's also worth noting that I’m always cautious about any courses where it's unclear whether the course creators earn more from selling courses than from applying the skills they teach. If you're looking to learn options trading or stock investing, there are plenty of alternatives—each with different styles and strategies. The Trader Foundation course offers just one approach among many. You can start learning for free on YouTube—check out The Inner Circle Trader for solid foundational content. After you learn from YouTube, it would be helpful to find mentorship from a local full-time trader or investor to help contextualize what you’re learning. There are plenty of other, more affordable course options: Rose Haan’s course (focused on selling options), Vantage Point by Sire Abram (short-term options trading), Girls That Invest Investing Masterclass (long-term stock investing), and Darold Trinh (stock trading strategies). Search on Reddit for other options. Remember, options trading isn’t for everyone—it carries significantly more risk than simply buying stocks. It’s definitely not a get-rich-quick path. There’s a reason why statistics suggest that only about 10% of traders consistently make money. Hence for most people, long-term investing in a broad-market ETF is a safer, more reliable route to building wealth over time. Also, many of the income claims and testimonials come from periods when the market was in a bull run. Once you're actually inside the group, it becomes clear that far fewer people are consistently making real money. The coaches and community are great, but don't be too persuaded by the income claim. It's not as easy to trade in this market and its volatility.
