Room for Improvement
Room for Improvement I think overall, the trip was enjoyable and affordable. That said, there was definitely room for improvement. I was not a huge fan of the resort that was selected. If I were there on a family vacation, it may have been more enjoyable, but I didn't really want to be around little children and unfortunately, I couldn't really get away from those families when on the resort. Additionally, the food wasn't all too good nor were the drinks, but again, that's all to do with the quality of the resort. Moving on to the activities, I was actually really glad to have those scheduled, It added a lot more color and adventure to a vacation where I expected to laze around all day. That said, I do wish a little more research was done on the companies TourHero worked with. Beginning with the buggies, our guides were incredibly kind and knowledgable. However, the buggies kept breaking down, adding a lot of stop-go to our trips. Additionally, it would have been nice to know ahead of time that we should wear our bathing suits and expect to swim. This was very unclear the day of the event. The next day was our trip to the Island. That was really fun, but there were a number of issues with transportation. It's unclear what the specific problem was, but we waited in a gas station parking lot for what felt like 45 minutes. On a trip that's probably an hour long. So that wasn't too ideal. I highly recommend that TourHero email out an itinerary 24-48 hours before the trip with suggestions on how to dress/prepare for the evening. It also would've been helpful to have a clear idea of what to expect traveling internationally after Covid-19. I think that would've made things a lot easier.
