Too Tall TobyReviews of tootalltoby.com

Toby said something early in the training that made solid modeling click in my brain. I don't remember the exact words he used, but boils down to way to think about what you are designing and how to approach the problem. His in depth knowledge of the nuance of the software is invaluable. I took the training with a previous employer as a way to increase my skill set. My new job has me designing production tooling as a critical aspect of my role. Thank you Toby. Truly valuable training that has translated into a new role.

I was looking for 2d mechanical drawings on the internet to practice 3d modeling. They say the internet has everything, I'm not so sure but Too Tall Toby has delivered! Hugely! I can't speak highly enough. All the competitors (well most) are eager to help with tips and tricks. I follow on Discord as well. Toby offers tutorials using Solidworks and Onshape as well as some others.

A well organized content provider with many features to help master CAD skills

I just want to say that Too Tall Toby is the best platform for anyone who is willing to be a better designer, it is all about becoming better by time. Speed Modeling has changed the way I design since the past 2-3 months. I became a runner for World CAD Championship 2025, which was definitely a honor for me to be in the Top 16. I can admit that I have become a better designer than I was around 4 months ago. The results are exponential for your growth and career. Plus, the community is extremely supportive in CAD design and speedmodeling. Thanks TTT and the community for accelerating my growth ! I would love to be of the best speedmodelers soon !

Great SOLIDWORKS and Onshape training resource!

This is the best CAD modeling learning site that is not focused on just one CAD program. Great practice models, the ability to watch in real time and participate in online competitions, and experience-sharing discussions on the Discord server. Too Tall Toby's video tutorials are interesting, very well structured and clearly explained. They are useful for beginners as well as experienced designers.

I used this site to practice a new CAD package and expand my skills. Now I keep going back to find faster methods of doing the same designs. I am a far better designer for having used the Too Tall Toby site.

Toby makes learning CAD fun no matter what your experience level is. I was already pretty decent at SolidWorks when I discovered his content, but through his videos, livestreams, and especially tournaments I have stepped up to a whole new level.
