In March I posted a small package from the UK to my cousin in New York. It went by untracked post at a cost of the equivalent of around $2.50. The package was never seen again. Don’t know where it got lost but there you go. I made a second attempt on 22 November, using track and trace and paying the equivalent of $12 for the service. The package left the UK on 25 November and was shown as received by a USPS depot in NYC on 27 November. Since then, no more news on progress every time I try to track it. It’s an appalling failure of service by the USPS and I wonder if this second attempt to send the package will fail too. At least I will be able to claim if it’s another fail, but that won’t be much of a consolation for two young lads in Manhattan waiting for their English football club keyrings!
