I ordered a part. Paid for same. Waited for 10 to 12 days hearing nothing. Then received an e mail that informed me my order had been canceled. That wont happen again because i will not be doing business with you again.
Response from Toolmarts.comJun 2, 2025
Hi Tom, I sincerely apologize for the experience you had with your recent order. The part you ordered was unfortunately out of stock, and in an effort not to hold onto your money unnecessarily, the order was canceled, and an immediate refund was processed. That said, we fully acknowledge that this should have been communicated to you earlier and in a much better way. Please know that while it is our standard practice to inform customers of cancellations, in this case, our shipping department canceled the order directly after checking the stock, and an automated cancellation email was triggered. Unfortunately, our customer support team was not notified, which is why you didn’t receive a proper explanation or follow-up from us. As soon as we came across your review and investigated the situation, we tried reaching out to you via phone multiple times to personally apologize, but were unable to connect. This was a clear lapse in internal communication, and we’re genuinely sorry for the inconvenience it caused you. We’re taking steps to ensure this doesn't happen again. We kindly ask, if you feel this explanation is fair and the situation was a one-time oversight, that you consider revising your review. Regardless of your decision, we truly appreciate your feedback and patience. Warm regards, Geff Toolmarts Customer Care

No tracking numbers were sent. At this time I have no indication if the product has even been shipped.
Response from Toolmarts.comMay 6, 2025
Hi Stephen, Your order has been successfully delivered. The item you purchased was a special non-inventory product that needed to be sourced directly from the manufacturer. As noted on our website and in your order confirmation email, our standard lead time is 7–10 business days. Unfortunately, there was a delay at the manufacturer’s end, which extended the shipping timeline by about a week. I personally reached out to inform you of the delay, and we also sent tracking details as soon as they became available. We truly value your feedback and always strive to be transparent and proactive with our communication. Given the circumstances and the effort made to keep you informed, we kindly ask if you would consider revising your review to reflect your overall experience with our service. Thank you for your time and understanding — we truly appreciate your support. Regards, Geff Toolmarts Customer Care

Ordered nearly 3 weeks ago, 5 days ago I receive an email that part of my ordered shipped. I contacted them a week ago for an order update via their website, never heard anything back. ** I did finally receive my order, but they never replied to my support request. *** Toolmarts reply to this review is false, my order was PARTIALLY shipped after 7-10 days of ordering, the 2nd half of the order (~2k order) was not shipped, I had to contact the manufacture of the product, where it was dropped shipped from directly to finally get it shipped out to me. Lose another star for misleading/false response.

These fall off of the batteries. They were for 18v Makita batteries and they do not fit correctly.

Hello, Please know that—from a customer’s perspective—the use of two company names/storefronts (ToolMarts and ToolOrbit) for the same business entity brings nothing but confusion and frustration. While I understand that maintaining sister/mirror websites is a common current-day business practice (to appear as competitors and capture more of the market, I suppose?), it in no way results in customer satisfaction. I ordered the same “in-stock” tool from a second, seemingly-different company (ToolOrbit)—only to later discover that it shares an address (and inventory) with the first company (ToolMarts). Who wins in this scenario? I see only a waste of time and unnecessary credit-card transactions for me—and lost revenue for you all. I realize that, with AI, companies will create as many pseudonyms as they choose: however, that does not mean that it’s a sound business practice. Therefore, at a minimum. I suggest that both “companies” remove product offerings from their websites when those products are discontinued, and/or point the customer to the new replacement part number. In that scenario, everyone wins! Yours truly, John
