Terrific higonokami. Simple in construction, but a sharp, well-made blade. A blade does not have to be decorative, just functional.

Website is easy to navigate and shop and order was fulfilled promptly. The most impressive was the honoring of free shipping to Alaska!!! This is a rarity. I will definitely be ordering more and recommending Tokushu to friends.

I’ve now bought four knives from Tokushu (one was ultimately from another local store that sourced from them). Their selection is great, they respond promptly, their prices are very good (especially in a tariff world), and they are very knowledgeable about their products. I am particularly pleased with their sharpening service add on to make sure all knives are ready to go as soon as they arrive.
