I have been on multiple TJ Hiker trips and for many reasons… Our groups are consistently a manageable total of 8-12. TJ always works with local guides which makes the experience more authentic - no Marriotts with TJ The cost of trips is very reasonable Lastly, it’s TJ. She makes it her mission that each of us has the best experience we could possibly have. This is not a “one size fits all” tour operator. She is easily accessible before, during and after the trip. Can’t say enough about TJ- there is nobody like her and I look forward to my next opportunity to travel with TJ Hiker Nina F

TJ has opened up the world to me and given the incredible opportunity to experience new places I could only dream about! The trip to the Galapagos Islands and the Amazon was absolutely amazing!!! We had the most incredible experience on our 10-day trip to the Galapagos Islands and the Amazon Jungle with TJ Hiker as our travel guide! From start to finish, everything was flawlessly planned and executed, with every detail taken care of. The snorkeling was absolutely amazing – we had some unforgettable wildlife sightings, and the canoe rides through the jungle were nothing short of spectacular. These intimate excursions allowed us to get up close to the flora and fauna in a way we never imagined. TJ's care and attention to detail made the entire trip special. She took care of all our needs, even helping us get medical supplies we had forgotten at home! She was encouraging and always supportive, helping my husband and I push ourselves to complete hikes we didn’t think were possible. Her kindness and positive energy made such a difference. The meals were always delicious, and the accommodations were unique and perfectly suited to the experience. The small group size was also a huge bonus – we were able to connect with fellow travelers and form lasting friendships. I highly recommend TJ Hiker for anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure.
