TITANIC MOVING GROUP. Scam.
I was aware of the risks involved in this before moving forward, and was very intentional about making sure they had my exact inventory. I went so far as to include some items twice. I still ended up getting charged double what I was initially quoted, and was only able to load half of my quoted inventory.
Titanic is just a broker, and once I was put in touch with the actual moving company, I was told that if I booked through them directly, I would've saved over $2,000 on a $5,000 move.
I was also told the move would take 48- 72 hours before pickup. They picked everything up on a Friday morning and couldn't get in touch with them all weekend. I eventually got an aggressive text saying the office isn't open on the weekend. When I finally got in touch, I was told that delivery would take 10-14 days.
This ended up being way over market price and took much longer.
Pitiful business

Stay away from this company
Stay away from this company. They deploy shameful and unethical practices with their customers. When you look at the other negative reviews, you will understand why. They try to blame you for their bad quotes by saying that you didn’t give them an accurate enough assessment of how many items you have. Full bait and switch approach. What was most telling of this was when the 3rd party contractor brought over a much larger truck and an extra trailer (as if they already knew that they would need a larger space to store your items) but yet acted as if they didn’t know. If they were so surprised, then why bring the much larger truck and the extra trailer??? After they’ve already loaded your items, then they tell you - oh you had too many things so we needed to fill up the truck and the trailer and then they said the charge was double what they originally quoted us. How can you be that far off on an estimate? It was so frustrating. But that’s not the only thing that makes this a horrific experience. They also chose a moving contractor that isn’t properly resourced to do this work. Titanic specified that it would take 7-10 days from the date they scheduled the move (which was June 8th). We flew out to South Carolina to meet the truck and even gave an extra two days, in case of delay. We kept calling and texting to get a schedule of when the truck would arrive. We waited for over a week in South Carolina (beyond the 7-10 days they stated). We were then told that it could take up to 30 days to have it delivered. What the??? We have still yet to receive the contract where it states this.
After countless attempts to try to reach the movers and/or person in charge of our move schedule and date, I finally left a voice mail message threatening to call the police or take legal action unless we hear back from a supervisor. So someone calls my husband back to explain that due to new regulations, that required more vetting of drivers, they were short resources (apparently for months). So then why take our job and why wouldn’t Titanic have verified this before they selected this mover to take our job? Again - this is beyond irresponsible and bad management, it is unethical. Lastly, Titanic is now impossible to get a hold of to lodge complaint with. They already took your money so they don’t care. They picked up our items on June 7th and today is July 4th — and still no idea when our furniture and items will be delivered! How is this acceptable?

Very shady and unethical
Most unethical and shady business. They knew exactly what they were doing when they gave us the quote and based on their responses to the other bad reviews, they tried to tell them that the 3rd party has a right to charge more if there were more items (yet we gave them very specific counts and sizes) so their estimate should have been closer (not an extra $5,000 more) than what was quoted. The other reason we are certain that they knew they were scamming us was because the 3rd party mover brought a much larger truck and an extra trailer. So if they believed we had more items than was quoted, why would they bring the extra trailer? So, nearly identical to the other bad reviews, we were misled and Titanic did a full "bait and switch" sales job on us from the start. We had to pay because they already loaded our items before we got the final amount (so we didn’t have a choice at that point). Additionally, we still have not heard back from the 3rd party company they contracted with to handle our move so we still don’t even know if or when our delivery will be made. It was picked up on June 8th without any ETA available (it is now June 29th). Originally, Titanic quoted us 7-10 business days (similar to other bad reviews given) so they basically lie to get your business. And even after we dealt with the movers to confirm the dates (we told them to schedule the move starting on June 8th), to which he said that it should get there by June 16 or 17th. Well, that didn’t happen and we even booked our flights to meet our delivery with no avail. When my husband called back to confirm the date of delivery, he was told that it could take up to 30 days!! What the hell??!! That was never communicated. And, they are loading it with another semi-truck with other customers (which were told would not happen). We basically spent the money traveling across the country from California to South Carolina so that we can unpack our things, but still never heard back from them. We are thinking we should call the police or file a legal claim, because we can’t even get a hold of anyone now to find out where and when our items are. My husband has been trying to reach someone and has been unsuccessful. The person, Joseph that he was communicating with has pretty much ghosted us even after telling my husband that a supervisor or manager will be contacting him. But, no response after that. The third party company is called Safe Move LA.
Update: We finally heard back from the “supervisor” who told us that due to certain federal guidelines, it created a shortage of drivers for them. So basically, our items are still in California as of June 8th with no ETA. You mean to tell us that Titan utilized a contractor who took this job, but didn’t even have drivers?

MY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE
I strongly advise anyone considering Titanic Moving Group to think twice before doing business with this company.
My experience from start to finish was frustrating, stressful, and ultimately disappointing. What initially seemed like a helpful and professional moving company quickly turned into what felt like a bait-and-switch situation. I worked with a representative during the initial process, and everything sounded great until it came time to pay the deposit. Once the deposit was made, I felt locked into using their services because the deposit was non-refundable, even when I later decided I no longer wanted to move forward with them. At that point, I felt trapped and pressured to continue, knowing I would lose a significant amount of money if I backed out.
What was not made sufficiently clear upfront was that Titanic Moving Group is essentially a broker and does not perform the move themselves. Instead, they contracted my move to a third-party company, Accessible Moving & Storage, which turned out to be another terrible experience. I later learned that the actual moving company doesn’t even receive any portion of the deposit paid to Titanic Moving Group.
The problems only continued from there. My belongings were transported alongside another customer’s items in the same truck. While I was later told this is a common practice in the moving industry, it created confusion and appears to have contributed to missing items. I was contacted by the owner of another moving company asking whether I had received a box that belonged to someone else. During that conversation, it became clear that some of my own belongings were missing.
Among the items I know are missing are my signed hockey stick and my Roomba vacuum, and there may be additional items that I have not yet discovered. To this day, I still have not recovered these belongings.
Beyond the missing items, there were numerous fees, processes, and expectations that were either not fully explained or became apparent only after I was financially committed. The communication was poor, the customer service was frustrating, and the overall experience left me feeling misled and unsupported.
Moving is already stressful enough. Customers deserve transparency, honesty, and accountability. Unfortunately, my experience with Titanic Moving Group and the third-party company they assigned to me was the exact opposite. If I could go back, I would never have chosen this company, and I wholeheartedly regret doing business with them.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I'll be as brief as possible... NOT ONE THING THEY SAID WAS HONORED - EVERYTHING CHANGED ONCE THEY HAD MY NON-REFUNDABLE MONEY. I contracted with Titanic Movers for an out of state move after doing a video call showing my items and also giving dimensions of those items. I also showed my closets and asked them to provide 5 wardrobe boxes at the price they charge for the boxes. My quote was reasonable for the 928 CF of space that was determined I needed...I contracted 4 full months prior to the pick up date, and being told they need 7-10 days to deliver, I gave them the full 10, scheduling both my pick up and delivery dates months in advance. During those months, as I packed, I downsized significantly by giving away a large portion of my belongings, and while turning in my new inventory also stated that I had downsized clothes as well, and only needed them to bring 3 wardrobe boxes. I was then told that my inventory showed the 5, but that they were not to bring them, that I was providing my own...I reiterated that I needed them to provide them, and to only bring 3. About a week prior to the pickup, after turning in a new inventory, they said I now needed 1220 CF of space, and nearly DOUBLED my price. Once you contract and make your first payment, you are locked in. If you cancel, they keep your money. I was stuck. (mind you, the remaining payments needed to be cash or Zelle only, which is the same as cash and cannot be disputed, and all funds MUST be paid in full before they will deliver). A few days prior to pickup, I was forced to sign a BOL from a company called Safe Hands Relocation, that stated ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION, no matter what I've been told by sales or office personnel, my items would be delivered as long as 14 business days past the 1st date of available delivery...and those days did not start from the date of pickup. Do the math: 10 days they already had my items, plus an additional 14 BUSINESS days is a full month in your home with no bed, no furniture, no desk needed to work from...Had I been given this information from the start I would not have chosen this company. The evening prior to the pickup I was informed the movers would arrive between 9-10am. At 9:30am I received a call that their ETA was 12:50 pm. I asked what happened to the window I was told and they said they were simply told the paperwork was on the desk - not that their pickup was 4 hours away. So I sat for 3.5 more hrs waiting. When they arrived, they did not properly protect my furniture with furniture pads, they simply wrapped items in plastic, left some completely unwrapped, and did not disassemble my three desks as I requested. (They said they would disassemble, protect, and reassemble). Fast forward, at pickup they had ZERO wardrobe boxes. They also stated they do not outsource and only use their trucks, but Titanic Moving Group was who I contracted with, Safe Hands Relocation was who picked up, JCJ Transportation was who delivered...and delivered 2 days later than promised, on Mother's Day, in a roach infested truck (I was literally swatting roaches off of the boxes as the movers were carrying them into my place). Many of my items were damaged...they looked like they had been thrown from place to place - 2 of 3 desks had to be pitched due to completely snapped off metal and wooden legs, hard wood furniture was dented up and scratched, items were missing, I received an item that was not mine, and per my own visual of the inside of the truck, as well as the mover's statement, my load was small - "only about 500 CF" so why was my initial price nearly doubled? To make matters EVEN worse - (at this point one would ask how is that even possible?) when I followed their instructions and sent the email AND PHOTOS showing my damaged items, I have never even received an acknowledgement. I chose this company because is it veteran owned, and my husband is a disabled veteran...and this is how they treat their fellow soldiers?? They should be ashamed. They are a disgrace. When I complained of absolutely anything at all, I was met with indifference and rudeness. I've moved many times, and this was by far the most stressful experience ever - I basically paid top dollar to have my items destroyed, only to have to purchase replacements.

had a really disappointing experience…
had a really disappointing experience with Titanium and would not use them again.
We originally went through Titanium because we were comparing this move against PODS/UBox, and they made their option sound like the better choice. We were told it would be more of a “white glove” service, arrive around the same timeframe, and be in the same general price range of around $1,800. Based on that, we trusted them and moved forward.
The problem is that the quote ended up being completely off. At pickup, after everything was already loaded onto the truck, the movers told me whoever quoted the move did not know what they were doing and that we had way more than what the quote was based on. The price went from around $1,800 to $4,300. At that point, we had almost no leverage because we had to be out of our apartment that day.
I reached back out to Titanium/the broker because the increase seemed ridiculous and way higher than what was actually loaded, but that went nowhere. This is one of the main issues I had with them. They were very involved when selling the move and getting us to book, but once there was a major issue with the price, communication, timeline, and delivery, they did not do much to actually help.
The delivery timeline was also nothing like what we were led to expect. The move ended up taking almost 1.5 months, and we were repeatedly given updates that ended up not being accurate. We were told things like the truck was leaving that day, only to find out it had not actually left. The only reason we had any real visibility was because we had an AirTag in one of the boxes. Without that, we would have had basically no idea where our stuff was.
Then at drop-off, multiple items that were accepted at pickup and listed as part of our shipment were missing, including a ski bag/skis, clothes, and a mirror valued around $4,000 total.
I understand Titanium may say they are the broker and not the actual carrier, but they are the company that sold us on the move, gave us the quote, set the expectations, and connected us with the movers. When the quote more than doubled, the timeline dragged on, communication was poor, and items went missing, I expected way more help and accountability than we received.
Long story short: the experience felt like a bait-and-switch type setup. We were sold on white glove service, better pricing than PODS/UBox, and a quicker/similar delivery timeline, and that is not what happened at all. I have filed a formal claim for the missing items, which is currently under review through Anthem Claim Management. As of this review, the missing items have still not been located or returned.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Titanium for a long-distance move.

Subcontracted Moving Carrier over charges at pick up
Dishonest and not truthful about how the process will work. Titanic will side with their carriers assessment of your items and space required. This erases all previous agreements signed in your binding estimate, for the cubic ft of space you agree to have shipped.
I would warn anyone who works with this company, Read the fine print of the binding estimate carefully- you will not be reimbursed for anything inside of 72 hours of your move and Titanic will support the mover/carrier's assessment of your items regardless of how sure you are of the space you need.
My move was planned on 29 MAY --- 830 cu ft for 3500 dollars--- from KS to Oregon. Carrier sees my items and wants to do a revision for 1500 cu ft. and increase my payments to 6800 dollars. Carrier Refuses to load anything until I pay the full balance owed up front. Carrier was Seal Pack Movers--- "F " score on BBB website and on trust pilot-- so when Titanic tries to tell you that you have to pay for a good score-- not true- that's clients making their own reviews. Seal Pack movers wants me to pay --- not 50% - not 70% but 100% of the balance owed. And then if I don't use 1500- I will be credited at delivery. How exactly will that work? I am expected to go into business on good faith that they will pay me back for space I did not use? This will not be discussed when Titanic is trying to convince you to sign up with their company. they will tell you make a small deposit now and then split the rest 50/50. Again back to the fine print of that binding estimate. Titanic will also tell you a carrier will bring a truck to your location with enough space for all your items and some extra space in case you need more space. My carrier showed up with less space than what was listed on the binding estimate. ------- Titanic will tell you your items will be loaded first and then any extra space used will require a revision contract to be completed and signed before the truck departs with your shipment. ------ THIS IS NOT THE CASE, when Seal Pack Movers showed up at my house, they refused to load anything until i signed and paid them for space that was not required.
section of binding estimate
9. CUSTOMER HAS ELECTED A "BINDING TO NOT EXCEED" PRICE, THE TOTAL COST WILL NOT EXCEED THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT; PROVIDED, HOWEVER THAT CUSTOMER PROVIDES TITANIC MOVING GROUP LLC. WITH AN ACCURATE DESCRIPTION OF THE ITEMS TO BE MOVED AND THE SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED. --- this is not what they stand by in their own binding estimate when they will not challenge the carrier company on moving day.
---After a dispute over the process with the carrier, on both the amount of space I needed in their truck and the manner in which a revision is done " AFTER" it is determined I need more space.... I refused to pay this elevated revision price. No one at Titanic will answer your calls on the weekends either.
emailed my complaint to Titanic - they highlight the numerous sections of the binding estimate as evidence the carrier has the right to change the space required and the carrier has the right to charge what they want to charge. Where is the support of the customer? No refund possible of my deposit, as Titanic sees no breach of contract.
Endstate -- Lost my large deposit - nothing moved- family plans all changed and no support from Titanic other than they see nothing wrong with how everything happened.
You have many moving companies to choose from --- Choose wisely--NOT TITANIC.

You will be threat by dispatcher for not answering phone!
I booked my move through Titanic based on the information provided by Chris during the sales process.
I was told:
-The shipment would be delivered within about 7-10 days.
-during the virtual survey, only one truck would be needed for my items.
-since only one truck would be needed, Chris mentioned that I will be using whole 26ft truck by myself( non shared) load
-Credit card payment would be accepted for whole process without service fee.
However, the actual experience has been very different.
After booking
-My shipment was handed off to another company without proper coordination
- additional truck were required
- shipment is now combined with other customers' loads
-Departure date has been repeatedly delayed without clear confirmation
-payment terms were changed to cash or money order
In addition, after other company was assigned, I have not been able to reach Titanic for any support. My calls and text messages have gone unanswered, and there has been no assistance in coordinating the move or addressing these issues.
Also dispatcher is unprofessional and 90% of her answer is I don't know and please call me tomorrow.
Now she is not answering my phone, if i called another number she answered right away.
I relied on the information provided by Chris and Titanic when making decision, and service that I am receiving doesn't match what was originally represented.
Reply for the response
Thank you for your detailed response. However, I would like to clarify that my concerns are not about the contractual delivery window. The primary issue is that the information provided during the sales process does not match the actual service I am receiving. During booking, I was clearly informed that:
- Only one truck would be needed at first i even include washer and dryer and sales person(Chris) mentioned should be okay
-My shipment would be transported as a dedicated (non-shared) load
- Credit card payment would be accepted (Chris mentioned and I have written text and I even show to dispatcher)
These points were important factors in my decision to move forward, and I have this communication in writing. However, the actual service has differed significantly: - Additional truck space was required beyond what was estimated - My shipment is now being combined with other loads - Payment terms were different from what was explained Additionally, I have repeatedly requested a copy of the signed agreement for the second loading but have not received it. Because I do not have the contract you are referencing, I am unable to verify the terms you are citing. This is a serious concern regarding transparency and the accuracy of the information provided. At this point, I am requesting: - A copy of the signed agreement for the second loading - A confirmed departure date with driver assignment I would appreciate a clear and prompt response. Thank you
Update 05/29/2026
Dispatcher didn't know that what is on the truck(share or non shared)
Delayed already 4 times
Dispatcher threat me to not pick up a phone and hang up while I am asking a question.(As a customer checking to status of my shipment, she threat me that I am not answer your phone of you check your status)
It is already delayed 5 times as they said. And now she said not answering a phone call?
Great customer service!
Response from Urban Move ProMay 28, 2026
Haneol,
I wanted to respond to the concerns you raised and clarify a few important points regarding your move.
First, your move was approximately 1,733 miles. As outlined in the agreements you signed and acknowledged, the delivery window for your shipment is 14–21 business days from your First Available Delivery Date, not from the pickup date. While your shipment was picked up on May 5th and 6th, the First Available Delivery Date you provided to the movers was May 12th. Therefore, the delivery window begins on May 12th.
Regarding the truck size, your agent was transparent in explaining that based on the information provided during the estimating process, your shipment was expected to occupy an entire 26-foot box truck. However, when the movers arrived, the actual volume exceeded the capacity of a 26-foot truck and required loading into a 53-foot trailer. A 53-foot trailer holds approximately 3,600 cubic feet, while your shipment occupied less than 2,800 cubic feet. As a result, there was remaining space that needed to be filled with additional shipments traveling in the same direction. This is standard practice in the interstate moving industry and is reflected in the pricing structure provided for your move.
Regarding the carrier assignment, it is disclosed in the agreements that interstate moves may be serviced by partner carriers. No moving company maintains trucks in every city and state across the country, and it is common industry practice to work with licensed partner carriers to service long-distance moves. In your case, because the move originated in Arizona, your shipment was serviced by one of our partner carriers.
It is also important to note that the current delivery timeline is not related to the use of a partner carrier. The primary factor affecting scheduling is the routing and loading of the trailer, which must be finalized before dispatch for delivery.
As for payment methods, the agreements you signed clearly state that pickup and delivery balances are to be paid using certified funds. Accepted forms include cash, cashier’s check, postal money order, personal check, Zelle, Cash App, and Venmo. Credit and debit card payments are not accepted for pickup and delivery balances, and this information was disclosed in the paperwork you signed prior to your move.
Finally, I want to address the concern that Titanic stopped assisting you after pickup. That is not the case. Whenever you contacted us, we reached out directly to the carrier and driver to obtain updates on your behalf. Since the carrier’s dispatch department is responsible for scheduling and routing, directing you to them was intended to provide you with the most current information available. We have remained involved and have not closed or abandoned your file.
We understand that waiting for delivery updates can be frustrating. However, as with all interstate moves, an exact delivery date is not provided until the carrier finalizes routing and dispatch. At no point was a guaranteed delivery date provided, only the contractual delivery window outlined in your agreements.
We appreciate your patience and hope this helps clarify the circumstances surrounding your move.
Please understand that by advising the movers that May 12th was the first date you were available to receive your shipment, the 14–21 business day delivery window did not begin until May 12th. As of today, only 16 business days have passed since that date. Based on the contractual delivery window, your shipment is still within the agreed timeframe for delivery. Even if we were using the earliest end of the delivery window, the carrier has not yet exceeded the time allotted under the terms of your agreement.
