One year ago called to make appointment to have Tint World do simple guaranteed GPS installation. Spoke with man who said he'd call me back. He didn't. Went to store waited couple of hours for opening in schedule. Six months afterward GPS mount came loose. Went to store. Showed problem, took info. Was told would research and contact me to make appointment for new solution. Never contacted. Six more months pass, GPS unusable now because wires shorted from unit unable to stay mounted. Called store. Spoke with man who said he'd call me back. He didn't. Went to store. Man looked at it and said did not carry my brand of GPS. Explained short in wire due to installation problem. Suggested I buy new more expensive mount, pricier than GPS unit and pay additionally to have rewired and reinstalled. Gave up on guarantee due to frustration. Would not recommend.

Took my car in to get 35% tint put on and when finished everything seemed right. Went to get my car inspected by the state and it failed because the tint was 27-29% on all of my windows. By NC state law it can't be below 32%. I took my car back to tint world and told them what had happened. They measured the tint with their tint reader and it came out to 30%, which still fails by law. They refused to fix the mistake they made, but I had no choice but to get it fixed due to the fact my car had to pass inspection. They said they would take the tint film cost off($200) but had to charge me labor which was($200). So I ended up paying an extra $200, total of $600 due to Tint Worlds mistake. They have great quality of work but in this case their customer service was terrible.

Horrible costumer service,they fried my e.c.m while installing alarm and took no responsibility. I tool the truck to a well known diesel shop who provided me a letter showing it was the inproperly installed alarm that caused this problem.after I provided the letter to tint world they told me it wasn't their problem. I will and have told everyone I know to avoid this company at all costs. Very,very unsatisfied.

Used a living social deal to have a car starter installed--booking it proved to be a hassle as they were overbooked for several weeks. Once getting it installed they said there was an additional "module" that had to be installed for some over-priced fee (can't recall the exact amount at this time). After getting it installed, we noticed our car started having electrical problems--windshield wipers wouldn't work, heat and a/c would work intermittently depending on if we used the remote start FOB or our own key for the ignition. We brought it back, their technician looked at it and said it was installed properly plus we had trouble duplicating the symptoms all the time (as I said, the problems were intermittent). We took the car to our trusted mechanic (FORD dealership who we've worked with for 10+ years w/out problems)--they found some of our wires had been cut and partially severed, causing faulty connections...was thinking of getting additional services from them, but after this experience, I'm forced to avoid future purchases from them. Completely disappointed with their service delivery.

I wish I could say it was a job well done and worth traveling for but unfortunately neither is true. I paid over $500 for quality film but the quality of work didn't match, I'm left with many bubbles in my tint and the inside of my door panels were heavily streaked with whatever liquid was used to apply the film. I was extremely annoyed that no effort was made to clean up the mess but rather than complain my wife and I found it best to do it ourselves and avoid any further wasted time. I reside in a small city and was convinced taking my vehicle 250 miles from home to the bigger city was a guarantee for a good job. Shame on me. The customer service was slightly above average but otherwise not a good experience at all. I would never recommend Tint World.

Would never go here. They will damage your vehicle and not fix It. If I could rate negative I would bust 1 is the lowest I can rate. Pick somewhere that ONLY does tint and go there.
