Just what I was looking for- an excellent price for a quality product.

My wife and I designed our house with an enormous truss comprised of glulam beams for the front facade's centerpiece, and my structural engineer mentioned Timberplates. I found them online and called them, and Rhett was patient and gave great service from the start. He quickly sent me images of connectors and plates which I immediately knew fit perfectly for our truss. Once I placed the order he started working on it right away. The delivery time was slightly behind when he predicted, but I understand many variables go into the delivery date, only a few of which are in the manufacturer's control. I also called right at the start of a slew of orders, Rhett later informed me. So, reader, do yourself a favor and place your order well in advance of when you need the items. When the plates arrived they were indeed exactly what my wife and I were hoping. The 1/4"-thick steel goes beyond the strength my engineer said is required, the powder coating job is high-quality, and they look both strong and elegant. They fit wonderfully with the house's style. Great work, Timberplates team!

These guys were great from the first call. I needed a custom heavy duty connector. I sent a picture and they were able to create the bracket, verify the design and manufacture and ship without difficulties . Furthermore, they actually answered their phone and quickly followed up with answers to my questions . Great customer service is still available and alive at this company . I recently purchased plates for 5 glulam trusses. The web page is quite easy to navigate and the choices are clearly described to make selection very easy. The post-to-beam brackets customization form is very simple to navigate as well. If I have a complaint it would be not being able to select the hole diameter in the plates. They are all 11/16" and I would have preferred 1/2" or 9/16". If I missed that choice somewhere in the web page I apologize for the bad press.
