This experience has been a nightmare! They have hurt my situation financially more than they have helped. They are awful. They tell you they will call you back but they don’t! That’s not even the tip of the iceberg as far as how terrible this experience has been. They have caused me to be sued by the same companies they are supposed to be helping me with. I should have done this on my own and saved my over $800 in fees that I have paid them to “help” me. Nothing but a nightmare, joke of an experience. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!!
Side note: I gave them a bad review in back in August after they first really messed up everything and they responded under my review and said someone would contact me within 24 hours.. NEVER HAPPENED. It’s just comical at this point. Terrible

I would definitely recommend this…but
I would definitely recommend this company as an option for getting out of debt. They have been flexible in working with me. The debt specialist working with me Demi McCarthy was very professional and reassuring.
It was disconcerting to see the error in financial management when the computer system incorrectly deleted 4 times the amount of my debt payment for the month. It was corrected within 36 hours but as a financial management company that was a major error.

Extremely disrespectful company.
Extremely disrespectful company.
As one of my option to try to consolidate some of my credit card debt I called their company. After a few attempts to reach me, since I was on vacation, we finally got to talk and they offer me a kind of credit card modification that didn't fit my need. Nicely, I told them that was not an option that I was looking for and asked them to cancel my application. The representative ended up the call on a very rude and sarcastic way that I was in total shock, since they suppose to have a professional company. He says these exact words: OK, then, HAVE FUN PAYING YOUR CREDIT CARD DEBT FOR THE NEXT 36 YEARS .
I feel sorry for anyone who ever tried to negotiate with this company and got them to help with their debt. I’m so glad I made a final decision to not use them.
Incredible !!!

Very poor follow up
Very poor follow up, I have had to pay off 2 accounts that were in the program because Timberline has never called the credit card companies to offer a settlement. I called 3 months ago gave them the name and number of person to contact for settlement and to this day not one person from timberline has contacted them to even talk about settling the issue. So it has gone all the way to a lawsuit being filed against me making my credit even worse that it was in this program. Only contact this company if you have cards with less that 300.00 on them as they cant seem to handle anything over that amount. Very sorry I did this program I wouldn't recommend it to anyone at all. Call the credit cards and work out your own deal so you know exactly what is taking place.\

This weekend Timberline "rolled out a new program" that promptly debited client accounts 2-3-5 times for the amount of their monthly payment. Some of the debited funds were returned immediately, but 5 days later they are "still working" on resolving the problem and returning client funds. Could you afford to be out $700, $800, $1000 for a period of time while they work on it? Not me! I'm opting out...

Hello Kimberly,
Thank you for your feedback. Over the weekend, in an effort to upgrade our technology to improve the way we service your account, an error occurred that caused multiple drafts from your account. We are diligently working to resolve this issue to ensure that all due credits are returned as soon as possible. We completely understand this has caused a hardship for you and apologize greatly for the impact. We will ensure regular communication to keep you updated on the status of your credits due. Thanks for your patience.

Where do I begin?
Where do I begin? As this will most likely be deleted from TrustPilot so that no one may read this. But this will be passed to other various debt consolidation review places so others may see what Timberline is all about.
Promises where made, that was meant from the start to be broken, I guess you could say. Upon being notified that I had been accepted into their program, it felt nice to have relief. Then comes the bad. I began submitting all of my statements as they came in, and kind of correspondence from any credit card companies, collections, etc. Offered to settle different debts, for half, sometimes more than half off what was owed. They would never call upon these companies to try and settle anything. They focused on one, meanwhile collection letters kept coming with no end in sight. So they settled with Barclay's, so I am thinking this is maybe a turn around. Barclay's was paid off. Then comes American Express, and from this point on it goes downhill with no end of the hill coming. I received a summons to go to court, I sent the summons over to Timberline, expecting someone to respond to it, their lawyers, anyone. I was told it would be handled. We handling they did, no one even showed up on my behalf, at this point a judgment was entered against me since I was a no show. After receiving the judgment, I forwarded this over to them, thinking they would take care of this. They did, I then received a exemption order of what property could not be taken. Only at this point I finally began speaking with the attorney that are hired by them, only did she drop the ball and failed to contact American Express' attorneys. Finally they got this stopped. Only AE attorney's have not ever sent over a accept letter, so this has not been paid, nor will they send any money til the paperwork is there. Meanwhile money keeps building in the account and you would think they would go ahead and work on others with all of these offers coming in, but they wouldn't. They wanted to stock up on money for when they received the letter of acceptance from AE. This never came. From this point, I have now been taken to court, lost, threatened to have my property taken, no other debts worked out other than one, which I could have most likely worked myself. Then I request to have a skip draft a couple of months ago, I was told all I needed to do was call, and call upon my sponsor who I began speaking with, she stated this would be stopped, all I needed to do was send a email to her so they would have record. Sending this, a few days later I look in my account, and there I saw the draft has went through. Now my checking account is in the negative. They refunded my overdraft fee's, but to get them sent back to me through ACH, they try and charge or state that I would be charged $10.00 to get my own money back that they was to have never taken. So in the form of a check my $10.00 was saved and I got the full overdraft back. But I was still without the money that was to have not been drafted. Now onto the next month, they were told that since they drafted when they wasn't supposed to, to skip draft the next month, which this time they didn't. Then comes the final straw today 10-24-17. I am trying to use my debit card to run a transaction through, declined twice. I decided to look into my checking account and what do I see, not one, but two drafts that have occurred 3 days apart. I am now left with 20.00+ in my checking account, the cause of incompetent personnel. I spoke with the escrow place at first thinking they were the cause of it. No, Timberline has to begin the draft before the drafting company can draft. I found out, I am not the only one this happened to, there was another client that had his funds drafted 6 times back to back. The drafting company told me there was a glitch in Timberline's systems that was causing this, or was ALSO told that this is done manually and this is human error that ran these twice or sometimes more. So I sit here with basically 20.00 in my account and as I told them what am I to do with 20.00? The whole company should dissolve itself, terminate everyone, let them go work shoveling horse**** by hand. Upon the end of the call with Timberline she hung up on me, not caring if I was to keep service with them or not, as they really don't care nothing at all about you as a customer as long as they make money off of you. This, I do believe could possibly be the worst company I could ever imagine. And one that could never be recommended to anyone I know. If you don't care about how your debt consolidation turns out, jump on board with them, cause it won't turn out so well. After writing this I will read reviews to find someone else, and only hope that they can do what Timberline was to do.
