I originally bought this on an App Sumo deal. All inclusive. No fees ever. Take a risk on it lasting by being an early investor on a discount. Then after owning it a year and watching it grow and improve despite lacklustre support, I notice a new 1% fee on one of my sessions. I ask what the hell this is? Suddenly, customer support responds, despite being mostly unresponsive most times. They tell me they announced it a week ago (they did not) and that it's not a big deal and won't affect me (it will) and essentially imply I should be cool with it. Pure gaslighting. Terrible service and even worse ethics. It's an obvious ploy to gently encourage folks off the App Sumo deal, or just make more money off the folks who initially trusted the original plan and made a bet. This is egregious, dishonest, and certainly adds up to where you're essentially paying the equivalent cost of a calendly subscription for a lesser tool, after already investing in it as an early funder. Screw this company. What a bunch of crooks.

Absolutely no recommendation. If you want to set up a team schedule and availability, this is an desaster!!! Even with the support of AI it was for me as a technical person not possible. A desaster which costs me a lot of time.

This company has NO SUPPORT. If you create an account they literally steal all of your data and when you try to delete the account, no email ever shows up. So they have your info, with no support, no way to reach a single person, and no way to actually delete your account. Do not trust this company!

No, TidyCal is definitely not a 5-star product. For me, it’s a 1-star experience because the customer service alone deserves 1 star. I had a simple 3-minute task — booking an appointment — turn into a 40-minute struggle. Any software that turns a 3-minute job into 40 minutes is creating problems instead of solving them. ### Main issues: 1. **Customer service** Instead of real support, you get an AI chatbot sending you through endless documentation and multiple pages to read. That’s not support. If I wanted documentation, I could search it myself. For a simple issue, there should be fast human help or at least a clear solution. 2. **Aggressive branding** The branding is excessive and misleadingly described as “minor.” It’s everywhere: * Follow-up emails * Booking notifications * Large logos * Multiple call-to-action buttons pushing users toward TidyCal It constantly redirects attention to their brand instead of yours. The emails feel more like advertisements for TidyCal than professional client communication. 3. **Poor embed/UI design** If you embed TidyCal on your website, their branding sits directly under the calendar in a bright white section that cannot be properly customized. If you have a carefully designed page, it completely breaks the visual consistency. The branding is not discreet. It’s aggressive and impossible to ignore. They may have added many features over the past year, but I couldn’t even comfortably use the basic functionality. Most of the extra features feel unnecessary when the core experience is frustrating. I do not recommend it. Before purchasing, use the free version or trial first. Test the emails, notifications, embeds, and booking flow yourself. You’ll quickly see that the platform focuses heavily on promoting its own brand rather than supporting yours.

had problems syncing my calander. customer service was not helpful. went back and forth for months. no number to ring. had to wait over a week for response times and infact i actually had to email again to get any response. agents do not listen to what you are saying and dont answer your questions. caused no end of booking problems for my clients. in the end i ended up getting chat GPT to help me sort the issue. terrible technology help and customer service. i do not recommend.

Don’t buy into the hype—they’re just copying other formats. You can find much better service from companies that actually deliver on what they promise. I tried to book twice they gave me the options that they don't honor.

After not accessing my account for a year i discovered that there was some unusual activity. someone had been playing around with the app. Uploading contact, creating schedules but didnt get any bookings. Obviously it was hacked and my first move was to try and change the password but that didnt work. I sent support an email and that wasn't replied to. The website obviously has inadequate security, maybe 2FA would be the best upgrade. There is inadequate maintanece if a simple function as changing password is not working. I can't delete any of the hacker uploaded contacts or set booking types. My old booking types are not accessible and i cant add any new booking types. Now It's basically not working anyone. Support is now going ignored. Yet they have the audacity to try and upsell me other features.

Oh dear… I am a s@x therapist based in the UK with a known national and international brand and service. I couldn't use my business name because, oh, the sin of it - obviously, s@x is in the title. I didn't discover this until I had paid. They refunded very quickly - which is good, of course, but no message back, no attempt to negotiate. I assume they basically ban therapists working with adult intimacy issues. Look how careful I have to be with my wording - this people, is why folks have such issues with, er, adult intimacy issues. 😉
