My car got damaged and I am being stonewalled to get damage claim for my car because I live "out of state". They want me to drive three hours to the location of where it happened and they are not responding to my email request that was sent on the day of incident. Lack of customer service with phone calls and they will transfer you to dead end line. I am a deaf person so I have very limited way to communicate. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I moved my membership to here after being with another carwash pass place for over 7 years. I bought rims for my Tesla that needed special care. After talking to Tidal Wave and trying it out, I WAS pretty happy. I had no issues except the manager is a condescending misogynist. The first interaction I had with him was him mansplaining how to put my Tesla in car wash mode. My husband finally got annoyed because the guy kept going. Today I went through and the conveyor belt damaged my rims. Instead of telling me why after 3 months the conveyor belt did this, he cancelled my membership because he said I had an attitude. When I called corporate they said he deactivated it so they couldn’t see it and he did not put in a damage claim. They escalated but they did not sound really like they cared. Avoid this place like the plague. I do not know how this guy is still employed.

CAR OWNERS BEWARE! On 08/25/2026, my wife took in her brand new 2026 Nissan Altima for it's very first carwash at Tidal Wave Auto Spa in El Paso, TX. Upon entering the cash, as directed by the employees, she felt a bump on the driver's side bottom door area. Upon inspection the car had been damaged. A report was taken and witnessed by the employee. On 09/09/2026, we received a call back and Tidal Wave claimed that the damage was pre-existing and that it did not happen as my wife stated. I told him that the car was a week old, it's first car wash ever (in our possession) and that it did happen there. I added that the damage was minimal and could easily be buffed out but they denied fault, coverage or responsibility nonetheless. The historical and repetitive 1 star reviews from everyone else should be a clear indicator of this businesses' priorities, and customer care is certainly not one of them.

Not a good customer experience. I came here to pay for a car wash, not to be repeatedly pushed into a membership. There is already a self-service machine where customers can select a wash and pay by card, yet I still had to say no several times to membership offers before I could simply purchase the wash I wanted. A simple transaction should not feel this complicated or uncomfortable. There are plenty of other car washes where I can spend my money without feeling pressured. Unfortunately, this experience was enough for me to choose a different car wash next time.

If I could give less than one star I would. These people steal your credit card information. You stop in for a one time clean. You pay by credit card. They then, without authorization or consent, start monthly billing you a recurring charge. This was done to me. I was just passing through the town (Brevard, NC) where I stopped in at Tidal Wave to clean my car. I don't live in that town (Brevard, NC). Now I see they have been pinging my credit card for $42.67 a month since then. Criminal.

My husband had been a member for a couple of years. When his credit card was compromised, he went into the car wash and updated his payment information. Unfortunately, the old card wasn't removed from the account, and when the credit card company automatically transferred recurring charges to the new card, we ended up being charged twice every month for 10 months. When we brought this to their attention, the only resolution they offered was a refund for 3 months of the duplicate charges, leaving us to absorb the other 7 months. After being a loyal customer, that was extremely disappointing. Mistakes happen, but how a business responds is what matters. In our case, it didn't feel like customer service was a priority. We cancelled our membership and hope others don't experience the same issue.

I regret going to Tidal Wave Spa in Albemarle, NC. On 5/20/26, about 1:00 pm I went for a car wash utilizing a free gift ticket that I received from my spouse. I went through the car wash and preceded to park next to a vacuum. Another customer had walked over to my vehicle and pointed out that my rear break light was hanging from the wire. The foundation it was attached to was totally broken off. I informed the manager on shift. She took pictures, and then told me they don’t repair cars older than ten years old. This was not brought to my attention via a sign or anything. The message I got was if you don’t drive a new car you’re not a valuable customer. I own a 2012 Mazda CX-9. My husband also sustained damage to a blind on his driver side window. He owns a 2019 F-150. He didn’t pursue the matter, but instead got it fixed. Also, another individual I met said they refused him service because of something with his vehicle. I’m considering taking them to court. I just want my light repaired.

Scammers! Told for an extra $5 I could get unlimited washes for the remainder of month. Not told that would sign me up for a membership! Now have been charged additional $49.97 and told by corporate that refunds are not option once we figured out their scam!!!
