WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
I hadn’t gotten a ticket in nearly 20 years, so getting two back-to-back (one for speeding and one from a traffic camera) was stressful enough. I felt relieved when I found Ticket Monster and decided to give them a try. I submitted all the information for my first ticket and waited. A couple of weeks later, I received the second ticket and hired them again, trusting the process. After a few months of silence, I suddenly received an email asking for more money. When I followed up, after delays and a lot of back-and-forth, they told me their AI system couldn’t read my ticket—so they never actually fought it. They issued a refund, but by then I had already missed my court date and was left dealing with the consequences on my own. I still hoped the second ticket would be handled properly, so I proactively followed up well before the court date. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get a clear answer. The final response I received was: “I am not able to concretely see within our systems whether that happened or not — our system is opaque — the best bet is to call the court directly.” That response says everything. If the company itself can’t confirm whether they did the job you paid them for, that’s a serious problem. This was a frustrating and stressful experience. Ticket Monster ended up being a waste of time and money, and I would not recommend relying on them for something as important as a traffic ticket.
