Be wary, otherwise, not bad
I posted a more positive review earlier, but am now rescinding it. I recently found out that not all "2TB Pro Lifetime" deals offered by Thunder drive are the same. If you are buying from a third party vendor be very clear on any and all stipulations made there, as while it may claim to be a "Thunder drive Pro 2TB Lifetime Subscription" It is not the same as the "Thunder drive Pro 2TB Lifetime" deal offered on the thunder drive website. While it is true they make no claim they are the same and you can be expected to know it before you buy, I think the fact they don't let you know to be wary of the distinction is a bit sketchy. All that being said in some cases the only difference is a 2TB Download/Upload cap per month, which is not the worst, and if you plan on using it for more long term storage, if you snag a good deal you may find no problem with that. I personally got a good deal on this so while I am quite upset at how difficult it was to get a firm affirmation of the distinction, I don't mind the data cap that much and do plan to use thunder drive for a few of my long term storage needs. EDIT: I saw some of the bad reviews here and have to say some problems I have had aside, the support team has been pretty decent with most technical or account issues also I have not had problem with the response time of staff, nor gotten stuck with a bot. Finally I have gotten fairly good upload/dowload speeds.

Hey JK, We're sorry there was some confusion with one of our vendors, it sounds like your review is more a reflection/complaint about how they communicated the plan they were selling. :( Because of this, we're sending an email to all of our partners to help them with clarity! If this is the only thing holding you back from a 5 star review, please contact our support team and we'd be happy to upgrade you to the plan you thought you were getting! :) Really sorry for the confusion. :(
