Absolutely horrible! If it seems to good to be true, it is. Slow as molasses! I tried coping over my entire photo collection (66,000 photos) and it kept failing after a few hundred slow uploads. I have no issues with AWS and am sticking with it. I hope this helps.

The only reason why i'm still willing to give this drive a shot is its potential. My region is South east Asia. and here the internet connectivity is very good, yet the speeds of viewing my uploaded files is slow. i tried to watch a movie which i uploaded but the stream was so slow that after 1 min the movie didn't even start . Also, i thought it was a joke that there were only 3 levels of folders. but to my horror, when i tried uploading my existing files from drop box, all my folder structures were gone and were reduced to just 3 levels. this makes this product inferior to drop box because the basics aren't even there. so for now i'm keeping my drop box account and waiting for Thunderdrive's phone app and desktop app. then again, i'm not complaining because for 59 dollars and 2TB worth of storage is still a deal. the problem is that right now, it is a far cry from what it promises to deliver. then again, i tried this drive in hopes that this platform will become far beyond what it is today. and for what its worth, there are still uses for a storage drive with 3 levels of folder structure. just that it won't be for important data.

Too slow I've registered the 500GB lifetime, and it is absolutely slow, While it takes me about 15minutes to upload 4.5GB to my free google driver account, but thunderdriver.io show that 9hrs. Can't believe that is a paid storage service.

Completely broken at the moment. Zero customer service response now. It looks they oversold and can't handle the load. Take a pass until they sort their stuff out. Update: Thunder Drive has falsely reported my review. UPDATE 2: They started working again for a few hours but have been down again for the last 10 or so. can't get my money back because it was purchased through a 3rd party. Upload speeds (when working) seem to be no better than 2Mbs (about 5x slower than I test). MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FINE PRINT, don't be a sucker like me. UPDATE 3: Still only able to upload about 50% of the time, and at criminally slow speeds. There's no way this "lifetime" purchase lasts longer than a year or two, and even then it isn't worth having to upload a file or two at a time.

The loading of files on European servers is extremely slow... In my case, under the same conditions it takes 8 times slower compared to dropbox or drive. For this reason, I score 3 stars in an act of faith. I want to trust that the service will improve and that they are now overwhelmed to be a new service and the launch of the LTD offer. The web platform in my case works very well, is friendly and easy to use. In the roadmap there is a desktop application for Q4. I think it is an urgent and necessary functionality. More than the mobile app I will let pass a short time, to see if they correct the problem of speed . If this changes I will modify my score by 5 stars, if not I will score with 1 star Update: I'm sorry. I've allowed enough time to correct your speed deficiencies and it hasn't been corrected. It's still slow. Also, you haven't implemented a single feature programmed into your roadmap. I've already given up my money

It seems impossible to load data into the cloud. The upload time is much too slow and the change between .io to .eu does not always work. Those were your words: Use a storage service 6x faster than Amazon storage Easily set up Thunder Drive & use it w / any web or mobile browser I wrote three e-mails to the support not one was answered until today! Conclusion: Is not faster than Amazon miserable bandwidth and terrible support and an upload from the beginning to the end is not possible zero points

As others here have mentioned, kind of a useless service. The web browser experience is awful, It fails constantly trying to upload large directories and cannot recover down the road. Customer service is non-existent. I tried the chat but it looks like they only have one person (Ashley) doing this as everytime I look, she is always the one who pops up and never responds. I have sent a couple of emails and three days later, still no response. Total waste of money! I purchased the lifetime service, but not sure just how long that will last with the current service level. And what does this service really provide? No backup, no software, difficult access to your files. I read that this is torrent technology. If so, why is there no app that can handle this? I should be able to be in the middle of an upload or download and shut down my system and reboot and take off right where it left off before shutting down. But no, browser closes and you are back to square one. I purchased this thinking it would be something similar to dropbox since the description on their website is extremely vague. I am having a hard time trying to figure out what this service is actually designed for in the first place. It is not a backup service, not a syncing service between computers, it looks like nothing more than a file sharing service. You upload a file and share it with other. If that is not what you need, look elsewhere! UPDATE: 10/22/19 - The service has actually gotten much worse and the support is non-existent. I have been trying to get my money back on this scam with no luck. It takes over 3 minutes each time the page loads and another 3 minutes if you change folders. The service is the slowest out there and I have a feeling this will be a very short term service. DO NOT place anything of value on this server as it probably will not be there when you need it the most! You have been warned! Don't be fooled by all of the fake positive reviews that they have placed on here.

Pretty sure we've got scammed. This site/service has no history, no real address, no company name, no licence agreement, no terms of service, domains has hidden owner info, no money back guarantee, no mobile/desktop apps.
