Very inexpensive offer But took long to upload a small file support said on Oct 15 Hi, we are currently upgrading our US servers and as a result, users can expect degraded performance. We expect to have this resolved soon. I got a good deal, so I signed up. Almost total waste of money. Takes one font around 10 seconds to transfer, so you can imagine what might happen with a video. Not quite a scam, but glitchy, slow, very aggravating. They say they are "faster than AWS," but that's a total misstatement. Save your money and go with another service. I was going to cancel pCloud, but I guess I'll stay now. At least their transfers and file management works as you'd expect. UPDATE: Trustpilot, after proof of purchase, reinstated the above review, though it took about a week. Ashley from Thunder.io contacted me prior to ask me to clarify my complaint, which I did with four specific questions (like how come after spending over an hour transferring files which each had progress bars showing a successful transfer, the files did NOT transfer, and showed 0 bytes on every file in that batch. Other files did successfully transfer, though slowly)...Ashley never responded again. Caveat emptor. This storage company does not function as well as Dropbox, Box, Google Drive or a hard drive. In addition their customer service is missing in action. Believe every single review on this page about pathetic customer service, horrific UX/UI and no phone contact channel. Their "server upgrade" excuse is their standard phony excuse or they get bad reviews pulled claiming that the reviews aren't from an actual user. Again, best of luck. As the old saying goes, "Where there's smoke,...".

Poor cloud service. It's been a couple months since I started using them and there has been no improvement. Logging in to access my files now takes up to 20 mins. Uploading a single file is quick, but there's a long pause until the next file is uploaded. The only thing that's decent is files download quick, but like I said, takes forever to access your files. I did contact support, but they couldn't resolve my problem. I'm thinking I should've gone with Degoo (didn't realize they let you manage your files now instead of just backing them up).

Their cloud will be OK maybe, maybe not, it will show only time. But their communication and anonymity of everything is really bad. They deleted my comment below their Facebook add 2x times, where I asked for company history, for people behind the company, for server locations and why they use few bucks script BeDrive from codecanyon ... There is no history or some start-up info if you google that company. Only a lot of re-selling (affiliate or something like this) posts. After payment, you will something like "invoice" but without legally required information in EU (VAT number, company contact..). Btw every serious company offer a free trial or money-back guarantee, but Thunderdrive no, they just take your money and no way to get them back. It is too anonymous to be trustworthy for me right now. Unfortunately, I already paid them, so I have to hope, that it will work a long time and my data will not be deleted the same way as my comments on their Facebook. Maybe they will answer my questions here, we will see. PS: ThunderDrive - and why you have different content on your .eu and .io websites? (I mean for example on .eu website on sale page personal lifetime and pro lifetime has same price 59$, really? I’d love to have this work but uploaded folders won’t open. A total waste of money.

I purchased this storage to replace the iCloud storage that we currently pay $0.99/month for. Since the vendor indicated that this is not possible, I would like to return it unused. I appreciate their return policy but I needed to claim it to determine that it was not able to accomplish what I intended to purchase it for.

Dont buy it! I have the 2Tb plan and the upload times are really slow. But the worst is that sometimes it gives error for no apparent reason when uploading files of type that previously was accepted with no problem. The support is non existent, they give automatic answers and nothing more. And they refuse to refund. THIS IS A SCAM!

Horrible, the absolute worst. I bought a 2T lifetime package from stacksocial, and when I was setting up my account I opted in for the extra 2T for $39, my card was charged and no extra storage was added to my account. Further more, none of the files play when you click on preview. This is such a horrible service. I got conned out of $100 dollars with this one. Run far far away. I also tried to contact customer service, never even worked. keeps throwing up some random error not even pertaining to the situation, probably preset that way.
