I have been using this service with 4TB of storage for months now with absolutely no problem until today where I cannot LOGIN to "My Drive" I access it every day and other than being slow it has worked fine for me until this morning. I sent off an email to tech support and have yet to hear back, but it has only been 30 minutes, so we shall see.

I've learned to deal with the inadequacies of ThunderDrive and would like to upgrade my rating to 3 stars, but only because it's inexpensive. After uploading nearly 300G I have learned that the platform sucks, but you can eventually learn not to believe what it shows you. Sometimes you will see folders where there are not, and you will not see folders where they are. Refreshing the link will generally clear that up. Once you finish uploading everything, the platform seems to work a lot better. Sometimes when uploading you have to wait for it to catch up and display the files and folders correctly, and there is an estimated time of upload that is meaningless, so don't believe what you see. File size appears to be something they intend to make operational in the future, but it does not work for me. It would be very helpful, but for $59 I guess we have to live with the dysfunctional bits. ThunderDrive sucks when you compare it to DropBox, but the price can't be beat. Be patient with it, don't expect too much.

For now I give 3 stars, I hope this turn better with the time, will be great if this platform last forever but who knows.

Great storage space for the price, (at the current discounted price) difficult to beat. However, I’m surprised (and disappointed) that this doesn’t allow to keep the creation date of the files...I’ve uploaded 65 pictures taken within a period of one year (Oct 2018 - Oct 2019), they all show as updated -and- created at the date of the upload, which is wrong and pretty inconvenient (to me). Hope they can find a solution for that.

Not a review itself. But how long is lifetime for a company...lets say, not as solid as apple, microsoft, ibm, google, etc? Would you bet ?

The price for storage is very good. The cloud storage is correct but they need to update their roadmap! We are waiting for Android as indicated on their roadmap but the app is not here as announced! Wait and see for future updates.

This is a good place to upload smaller files. I tried to upload 600mb file for last 10 days and up to 20% uploads (the initial time it shows < 10 mins) very fast and after that, it shows estimated time as 1hr and gets stuck there forever. I don't know when we get the app or way to upload if it breaks in between.

I am somewhat pleased with ThunderDrive.io. The amount of space I got for the money is phenomenal when compared to other services. However my biggest and pretty much only gripe right now is that I can't connect to it with CloudMounter because they don't have any FTP or SMTP settings that I am aware of. I would also like an iOS app and desktop app sometime sooner rather than later, but I am also of the school I would rather have a working app than a rushed one. Updated review as of April 9, 2020. Still no IOS app or FTP and SMTP settings. I think soon is a very subjective term on this. Updated as of May 11, 2021 Still no IOS app or FRP and SMTP settings.
