Extremely upsetting experience after…
Extremely upsetting experience after the loss of my dog I am extremely upset with how Thrive Plus has handled the cancellation of my dog’s membership. My dog was put down last week, and I contacted Thrive the very same day to tell them she had passed away and to cancel her membership immediately. After receiving no response, I contacted them two more times. Each time, I received an automated response saying someone would get back to me within 24–48 hours, but no one actually addressed my request. Now, a week after losing my dog, Thrive has proceeded to attempt to charge my account several times today despite my repeated requests to cancel. They still have not responded to acknowledge that my dog has passed away or confirm that her membership has been canceled. This is incredibly hurtful and frustrating. Losing a pet after 14 years is difficult enough. I should not have to spend the following week repeatedly contacting a company and dealing with attempted charges for a membership for a dog who is no longer alive. I gave Thrive notice immediately, followed up multiple times, and have documentation of those communications. I simply wanted them to acknowledge my request, cancel the membership, and stop charging me. Instead, I have had to deal with this while grieving the loss of my dog.
