We understand that for many of our customers, their Blythe doll is not just a toy, but a cherished companion and an extension of their own personality. That's why we refuse to compromise on quality by using second-hand or refurbished components, a practice that some sellers on platforms like eBay and AliExpress may engage in. In fact, we are strictly not affiliated with AliExpress and do not purchase any materials or dolls from their platform. Instead, we have our own dedicated team that sources the highest quality ingredients and crafts each doll from scratch, ensuring that every creation is truly one-of-a-kind. Our commitment to crafting each doll individually means that we do not engage in mass production or have ready-to-ship items. We believe that this approach not only ensures the highest level of quality and attention to detail but also allows us to cater to the unique preferences and desires of each customer. No instructions given, unclear as to delivery times, clothes and accessories are sloppily made and barely fit, it would frankly be easier to become a crack addict than to build a Blythe Doll. Stupidest waste of money. Save the £100. Useless and disgusting that the workers are so lazy.

“Aggressive Responses and Overpriced Reselling – Be Careful
I’m sharing my personal experience in the hope that it helps others make an informed decision. I discovered that many of the products they sell appear to be the same as those offered by various AliExpress sellers at much lower prices. This was disappointing, but what happened next was far worse.
When I tried to post an honest, critical review about my experience, I began receiving multiple emails from the company. The tone of these messages became increasingly aggressive and intimidating, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. No customer should ever be treated this way for simply sharing their opinion.
I sincerely hope that one day proper action will be taken to stop these kinds of practices. Until then, I encourage potential buyers to research carefully before making a purchase.
I am a long-time online doll reviewer and I ordered $300 worth of products, across two orders, from this store for one of my reviews. In general, the items I bought are great, although they are not authentic Hasbro Blythe products. While I was doing research for my review, I found similar (in many cases identical) products from other vendors for significantly less money (half the price in most cases, even less in other cases). I mentioned this fact in my review, to inform my readers, and I showed evidence. This has earned me *months* of harassment from This is Blythe. They relentlessly email me with specious legal threats and have even sent me a screenshot of their efforts to track down my family members online. After receiving these real and implied threats, I sought legal advice and looked further into this company and their practices. I realized that the contact information displayed on their website is fake. The California headquarters address does not exist. There's no way I can trust a company displaying sneaky information like this. So basically, there's nothing wrong with the products I received, other than that they were severely overpriced. However, this company is not nice, nor are they honest. Do a bit of research before you buy. There are plenty of shops selling equivalent items that will charge way less, and will not try to ruin your life and livelihood if you have a simple complaint or critique.

BUYER BEWARE
I hope that you are reading this before buying from this company, rather that after. I discovered them back in April and purchased one doll from them and thought she was very nice. Having no knowledge of this particular company (and not knowing any better) I foolishly went on to order six more and was also happy with them. Than having already spent over $2,000 Canadian I ordered two more, both supposedly 'custom dolls' one was supposed to have yellow eyelids, the other, yellow. When they arrived they both had yellow eyelids and I contacted the company to exchange the one that was supposed to be pink as their website emphasizes ( FREE RETURNS AND NO QUESTIONS ASKED RETURN POLICY) Then the truth came out. I was told that the eyes and eyelids go through a 'RANDOMIZER' system and unless I specify an eye or eyelid colour then in effect they can send me whatever they choose. Nowhere on their website is this mentioned and as I had no issues with previous orders, there is no possible way I could have known this. Suggestions were made that I could also spend even more money and buy eyes with pink eyelids and replace the yellow ones, which I had never expected in the first place. I therefore asked for instructions on how to return these two dolls, which are still entirely packaged as they came as per the 'free returns and no questions asked return policy, and all contact from them, ceased. I emailed twice more and still heard nothing, So the return policy does not exist, if you order from them there is no guarantee that what you order is what you get and having read other reviews on here it would appear that sometimes you get nothing at all. I ultimately do not particularly care if they are in the US or China, I just would like a company that deals honestly with people and honours the promises they make, rather than to obtain money from people using false advertising Having now looked into this more closely I discover that most of the dolls they sell can be bought on Ebay, Amazon and from other comments on here, Ali Baba for a fraction of the price. I have no first hand knowledge of Ali Baba. If you are contemplating purchasing from this totally unethical company Please do research first, and my sympathies to people (such as my self) who have discovered truth of their deception, too late.

Lies lead to distrust
Since Sept 27 2020 I have been waiting on a doll for 89.99 and ordered shoes for her too. They told me after a month it was on its way then another month it was in the states but the tracking number showed it never moved. I have been told lies and they will not respond to give me my money back! I have asked several times for a refund and have since gotten e-mails from them saying they are going to take action against me.
They told me it was in the states on Oct 10, it could not have taken from then to Dec 18th to get to me from the states. 2 months and 8 days is a very long time for USPS to deliver mail domestically! The doll arrived 12 days after I contacted PayPal. 2 months and 23 days. You decide what is safe or not.edit... The long winded response below is so not even remotely the truth. I never made multiple orders and things said to PayPal never happened just for starters. They are making things up to save face. Let this be warning to you, they are masters of lying and deceiving and beware! Real business owners don’t react this way!
Response from TIBJan 17, 2021
Dear Rebecca. Both orders were successfully delivered before Christmas. USPS official page shows that you received all of your items at this address: 2701 Morton Ave, Parsons, Kansas, United States, 67357, Mobile: +19182774050.
Successful delivery: https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction?qtc_tLabels1=4206735792748902348247002011257230
Regarding your purchase, let's start with your pre-order inquiry. Prior to the first order, you asked this exact question: "is my promocode good on middie blythe?". We replied to you making sure that your coupon code works and all is good with your order process. Then you placed multiple orders and we had crafted your custom doll and shipped them successfully, and provided tracking numbers with USPS. When you visit the link above, you will see that USPS would display all information unlikely what you claim to be a "fake tracker". Therefore, your claim is invalid and we can't entertain such comments. We never provide fake trackers since they will not work and it's not in our interest. Since you received all of your items and USPS trackers match with ours, they are not fake at all kindly.
Secondly, we realized that it was your first order with us and decided to give you a free gift set to complement your doll since it was a nude doll. The gift is sold for $39.99 which you also received in the same package which we originally had to forward to another studio department to sew the clothes for you. Due to the unusual volume of deliveries, customs paperwork, and distancing practices for the pandemic, USPS delayed your package. They displayed a red notice banner for your tracking page: "ALERT: USPS IS EXPERIENCING UNPRECEDENTED VOLUME INCREASES AND LIMITED EMPLOYEE AVAILABILITY DUE TO THE IMPACTS OF COVID-19. WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE." Then you contacted us about your delivery and we responded asking for your patience and understanding through tough times due to the pandemic combined with the holiday orders since the majority of people are home and there has been a surge in online orders.
About your payment, you contacted Paypal claiming that it was an unauthorized transaction. Paypal contacted us with this email subject: "The buyer stated that they did not make this purchase" Case: PP-D-91710265. Then we replied to Paypal with your order details and chat conversations. Paypal then dismissed the case with this email: "Dear This Is Blythe, we've decided the case in your favor. If there was a hold on this transaction, it has been removed." Then you opened another dispute changing the reason and Paypal also decided it in our favor as well. Therefore, your claim about Paypal not dismissing the case is also invalid (Case PP-D-87465849).
You then sent us unpleasant messages from different devices with the same IP. You harassed one of our employees with autism which we had to end the thread. We immediately close conversations if the customers send threat messages as well as if they go to the transaction provider with invalid claims and accusations. Paypal also requests that we only communicate via Paypal messages for escalated disputes. You were notified about these incidents multiple times and you still decided to libel us on different channels and you reached out to a blogger as well. We take all threats and accusations seriously, therefore you received a Cease-and-Desist letter from our legal department. Since your libel and invalid accusation reviews still exist online, your legal case is still processing with the lengthy paperwork which is about to finish soon. You will receive it with the required stamps from Kansas authorities. Google is also processing your legal case currently (ID 1-9223000031221).
Thank you for your efforts, however, you have not even talked about our products but subjective opinions with no valid grounds. We hope you are enjoying our products. Have a great day.

Beware Fraud Website.
I tried logging into my account today to obtain information about the fake-purchases (that i made in August 2020). this website deleted my account and removed all evidence, and no more replies from them. Beware fraud website.
Update to review:
Rechecked again. Account is now back and orders-history available. Only 2/4 items were delivered. Please refund me for the unshipped items immediately.
The first two links provided in the reply are fake and fabricated. the last link is for just 1 order made before the full scam is discovered.
This website is a total scam and i will not stop posting my honest reviews.

Resells fake Blythes from AliExpress
A couple weeks after the estimated delivery date my order still hadn't shipped. I decided to do a reverse image search of the doll I had ordered, and found it on AliExpress for $100 USD cheaper than I had bought it for. The pictures of the so-called "Premium Custom Blythe" dolls on the website are the same pictures of fake Blythes (aka "factory Blythes", they are reproductions of the original product by Takara) which can be bought for much cheaper on AliExpress. I believe this seller is buying the dolls cheap from China and reselling at huge markup. If you don't believe me, look up the store "The show!" on Aliexpress and you will see several of the dolls listed on ThisIsBlythe.com.
What is even worse is the custom OOAK dolls listed on their site are pictures taken from custom doll artists. This Is Blythe lists them at a price 2x higher than the original artist's price. I believe they are trying to earn money off of these artists' hard work.
I contacted the seller asking for an explanation and several days never received a reply. They didn't give an explanation to why my doll hadn't shipped, either. I do not trust this seller and would not purchase from them again.

EDIT Oct 24 2020: After days of not hearing back from the seller (not even a courteous "We are busy right now, can I get back to you in a few days?") within about an hour of me posting my Trustpilot review I received a looooooooong, super passive-aggressive email from the seller threatening to take legal action if I did not take my review down. After this I noticed my shipment had been updated from "pre-transit" to "in transit".
I just received the doll yesterday, in a crappy, not very sturdy packaging. I really wish I could post a picture here because the box LITERALLY has an AliExpress shipping label on it. That confirms my suspicions that they are an Aliexpress reseller.
