Been working with this company since June 15 2026 on creating an e-commerce website and an Amazon store. Poor communication, very slow work but they want your money fast and furious. At this point, I do not recommend this company for any work they offer !!! I wished I had took my business somewhere else !!!! Not sure what you don’t understand about this review. I am an unhappy customer. Nothing in this process was easy. It has taken way too long to build my website, and I have spent more money than expected. Plain and simple, I do not recommend anyone use this company for their services !!!!

Incomplete Website, Lack of communication and Deceitful
FAILED PROJECT: website creation, admin and website optimization for QUILTINGONATHREAD.COM, beginning in January 2026
Well, I guess they thought I would just drop it, after they promised a partial refund on their promised 100% Satisfaction and 100% Money-back guarantees. I've waited over TWO MONTHS for the promised refund and have written several emails asking what happened to the promised refund. Now getting no response...not even the dishonest excuses that first came.
Back story, after posting my original review here on TrustPilot, I was contacted and eventually offered a 50% refund and the bits of work product (useless as it was) IF I WOULD REMOVE MY REVIEW HERE. I agreed because 50% is slightly better than a complete loss.
Well, two months, no refund and this after the rather questionable demand that my truthful review be taken down...I am no less dissatisfied with this dispicable company and far more offended by their inability to perform and their audacity.
If you intend on getting any service out of The Website District and the various names they operate under...all I can say is bless your heart and good luck. I don't see it ever happening.
Here is my original review...
JUNE 29, 2026
I wasn't going to write a bad review, but this company will not honor their money back guarantee and has subjected me to emotional blackmail and bullying as I tried to terminate the non-performing service agreements.
After original contact in the company tried to force me into another conversation with the very party who subjected me to emotional blackmail, I feel the review is necessary.
Things started out great, and the project manager filled his mouth with flattery and promises. I was upsold for services that will never be performed because THERE'S NO WEBSITE to perform them on.
Both the business development manager and the project manager reminded me multiple times of the 100% Satisfaction guarantee and the 100% Money Back "at any stage" guarantee. I felt at first that I had the best team working on my website.
For the first several months things seemed to be going well, but SLOW. Any data I provided on their forms were haphazardly applied...sometimes the copy or output sent to me for review seemed completely unrelated to my input to their own forms. But a few back and forth and things were coming along.
Most of these quirks were explained away as a language barrier. By the time a demo website was made available, the communications with the project team was like pulling teeth. They scheduled calls and didn't follow through. They promised corrections that never occurred.
I found myself constantly checking why they hadn't called me as scheduled and reasserting changes that should have been made. In one instance the tech working on the changes set an appointment with me, but did not make the scheduled call. The project manager was on vacation so upon his return I texted asking about the unmade call and lack of follow through. He assured me he would follow up.
TWO WEEKS later, I sent a sternly worded email expressing my frustration with the lack of progress and lack of communication. The next two calls went well and then everything began going downhill again.
Finally, on June 1st, 2026 the project manager and I had a call with directions to accomplish the next 3 changes needed. He promised a call on June 4th to check these changes and discuss the next changes. That call never came. I waited until Jun 16th and checked the demo website ... Nothing. Had. Been. Done.
I've since written a letter terminating all service agreements and requesting they honor their guarantees and refund my money. A great amount of run around, text messages, even a word-vomit of a proposal to fix this ordeal with the promise to honor the refund under our "prior covenants", which acknowledges that a refund is due to me. However, no refund has been received. Part of the run around was a fearful call from the project manager telling me he was going to lose his job if this project was terminated. He's still working there. This was just manipulation and emotional blackmail.
This manipulative communication was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable on every possible level. If you like drama, lack of performance, and manipulative behavior THIS IS YOUR TEAM.

Buyer Beware
This company has been blocked by Cap One for too many fraudulent transitions. Don't pay with a debit card. I was told by Martin Victor it was not them it was the processor.

Yall are probably all paid pple who…
Yall are probably all paid pple who were paid to write these scammy ass reviews. This is the most scamming frauding fake ass so called company. I paid a set price and then was asked for more money after I was told the amount I paid would take care of everything nothing else needed to be done. I told them I no longer wanted the services and wanted a full 100% money back guarantee and they refuse to give me my fkin money back wanna give me the run around. Legal actions have been taken and I’m in the process of suing. Do not fall for this scam and fraud.
If I could give negative zero stars I would fake ass so called company

This is not a US company
This is not a US company. After months of run around trying to upsell me I never recieved a website complete or incomplete. Requested a refund after the first month and was promised that it would be done with detailed research and accurate information. Non of this was true. I finally gave up in the 4th month. It was finally looking better but had pages of corrections about the information generated about my product. Totally inaccurate and made several attempts for my refund buy nothing. Scammed....

Our original intentions was a Shopify…
Our original intentions was a Shopify dropship site and that's what we bought. Through a lack of clear communication this company changed the website to a free standing site and then had the audacity to request $1000 to add dropshipping. We felt manipulated but by this point had little recourse but to proceed. What had originally was supposed to take several weeks is still ongoing months later.
I would caution every small business or entrepreneur to look elsewhere for website development.

SCAM 3rd World company
Gave a 1 star only because I couldn't select negative 5 stars. No website no refunds SCAM.... months ago I started with 2 Individuals supposedly working on myvsite, then was another couple guys. Not even close to publishing anything of value after 6 weeks. Copied a few things from my current website and rewrote material so it didn't make sense in English. The phone numbers don't answer calls text only and have to use messenger or zoom meetings because they are NOT United States based. Working several weeks to edit problems with content and never a functional cart design. Always tried upsell tactics every call about apps Ai phone services Ai advertising on and on ending Always with ok I fix these things and ready to publish. Thin I'd remind about no cart or the products are not even entered or missing descriptions. This could have gone on and on forever. All while trying to get a initial payment for a new monthly service. Telling me I need them to manage my shopify store at a monthly rate. SCAM. SCAM Scam... don't waste your money.

Refund? Forget it
On September 15, I hired Website District to build a website for my cleaning business. I was initially told the company was based in New Jersey. After payment was made, I learned that the sales representative I had been communicating with was actually located in Malaysia, which made me uncomfortable.
I immediately requested a refund. No work was ever completed on my website. To date, I have still not received my money back.
During my dispute with Visa, fraudulent documents were submitted on their behalf in an attempt to avoid issuing a refund. I have made multiple attempts to contact the company, but every email I send is returned and undeliverable.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise against doing business with this company.
