Then I got to see my new rod and I was in shock with the quality this rod has to offer. I have been extremely happy with my Wade Rod and Pelican Reel -- very top quality gear. I received my spare spool extremely quickly and am excited to put a sink tip line on it and give it a go.

To be honest with you I was skeptical, so I did my homework on Wade. I took a chance, and I’m glad I did! I ordered the 8 wt GOAT through Wades subscription plan. They make it very easy and affordable to own a quality fly rod.I was sitting by the fire pit on a Saturday night around 11 PM when I placed my order, and the rod came by the next Thursday. I thought that was pretty good. During the initial unpacking, I was quite pleased with the quality of the rod and the tube that it came in. It took me a few days to get it set up and ready to fish, and I was even more pleased with the way it finished. To be quite honest with you I am an Orvis guy, and this rod rivals the quality of Orvis at about half the price or so! I will definitely buy again!
