Used this 5wt 8ft rod several times now and caught a couple fish on it. So much fun. Light and easy to use in these smaller Colorado streams. Beautiful quality and construction. I love it and would definitely recommend it to others.

I received my 9WT a few days after subscribing and just in time for the Cheeky Schoolie Tourney. I used the rod during the entire weekend and caught plenty of good fighting stripers in strong current. The rod has a great backbone and outcasted another company’s 8WT I had been using up to that point. I would suggest these rods not only for the convenience of the subscription but their performance as well. The price of the product does not resemble its build; a well crafted rod that will perform just as well as others I have purchased in the past at higher prices.

Andrew, glad you put the rod to the test on the schoolies! We were at the tourney to and got bent on a solid number of fish, the 9 wt saved our fishing with that wind we had to deal with. Thanks for the review and feedback. - Tight lines!!
