Buying experience was great. Staff was very attentive and helpful. They responded to my questions pretty quickly, even on the weekend. Shipping label for my order was created four days before it left the warehouse which was a little slow but overall customer satisfaction solid A.

Good over all experience. The reel was incorrect when shipped the first time. I had a 9wt the next week. Review of the products: after 16 hours on the water 9wt Bendero. Great handling rod. I would guess closer to 9.5-10wt handles weighted/unweighted streamers very nicely. Casting Rio saltwater general purpose (know to be heavy) Fast action medium heavy Spine. Lots of back bone! Handles back country reds nicely. Had 18-25 mph winds this weekend. 75+ feet cast where the norm. Pelican Large Reel. Work of art!! Great finish and light! 300 yards of 20 lb (round) Dacron backing and 100foot fly line. Drag is smooth and constant. Max drag in a bit low for my liking guessing in 6-8 lb range. That said the “swamp donkeys” I hunt are know for low gear power. Palming the reel slows them down. Cranking knob could be a touch larger and textures for saltwater use. Slimy hands make for sore knuckles. Over all very happy. Great tool and a fair price.

I recently bought the Tide Chaser 9ft 9wt for bass and carp fishing. This is the lightest rod I have ever held and the action is fantastic. Its absolutely incredible! I really cant wait to take it out. The only reason I haven't given it 5 Stars is because I haven't taken it out yet. I still need a fitting large arbor reel to go with it.

Cant beat this rod for the price.The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 star rating is the real seat it's not bad but I dont think it matches the quality of the rod.

Tried the Freestone 9' 5wt out in backyard due to how high the lakes and rivers are in OK. It felt great and casted very well. The only issue I had was the with the reel staying tight in the reel seat. Even with both locknuts as tight as I could tighten them (without tools), the reel kept coming loose. Other than the reel seat issue, I think this rod is going to be a great addition to the arsenal.

I really like the rod so far. I've only fished it with an older reel so far and it's a little sloppy in the real seat. I'm putting a new large arbour reel on this week and I hope the fit is a little better. Overall though, I'm pretty pleased

I got the 10ft 4wt nymphster and the pelican reel to go with it. The rod is amazing, it’s very light and easy to Czech nymph with. The reel is nice the only thing I would change is that it’s silent while reeling in.
