Meeting you where you’re at
VSA is about delivering what you need for exactly where you’re at. Seems obvious, but you soon realize it’s what you’ve been missing all along. To be clear, there’s no magic to the fitness programming and nutrition advice they provide - no “one weird trick” that fixes everything. VSA’s secret sauce is cutting through some of the noise in the fitness and nutrition world, figuring out exactly where your strengthens and weaknesses lie, and tailoring the coaching accordingly. If you’re starting from scratch, they’ll get you set on the fundamentals. If you’re somewhere in the middle, they’ll figure out where your gaps are and help you tie everything together. And if you’ve already got a solid base, they’ll help you dial it all in to get you to the next level. So like in my case, a good amount of the coaching I received from Sawyer centered on mindset. That was probably the biggest surprise for me - changing my approach to fitness and nutrition. Making sustainable changes. Focusing on the long-term. A good deal of life coaching I didn’t know I needed. As their approach isn’t cookie cutter, neither are their coaches. They’ve got a deep roster of professionals with diverse personalities and backgrounds, so they can be thoughtful about who they pair you with. And I can’t stress how incredible it is to be in an all vegan environment. Their advice is tailored to active vegans, delivered by vegan coaches to vegan athletes of all stripes. There aren’t many spaces where that’s true. I’m grateful for my time in the program and recommend it to any vegan who is committed to improving their health and fitness.

Concise, informative, and thorough as usual, Nick! I am truly humbled by your words because I distinctly remember thinking to myself “this guy has really done his homework—why is he here?” And still we were able to become fast friends who inspired each other. I’m so proud of the way you openly shared your struggles with me because it allowed me to see the only things you were missing were self belief and some patience. I knew you had grown when you told me the story about getting Panda out of the trail because you realized that you are already strong and smart enough to do any difficult task as long as you commit to it and don’t allow self doubt to creep in and sabotage you. I also love that you felt supported by people who care about you in this world because I know it can be a lonely place, even in the biggest city in the world. I have a deep respect and love for you, Nick, and I cannot wait to see what more these lessons embolden you to achieve!!! Coach Sawyer
