My 18 months in VSA have had a profound impact on my health and fitness. The two coaches I worked with were knowledgeable and skilled in helping me reach my goals. Most recently, coach Arman was great at helping me develop nutrition plans and strategies to fuel my workouts and move increasingly toward whole foods.

Excellent program! All the teachers/coaches I encountered were smart, kind, friendly, energetic, responsive, & deeply prepared for their work. My months at the VSA coincided with a personal transition period, perfectly timed (lucky) to help me move forward into the next phase — in much better shape, much better-fed, much more efficient & happy in the kitchen, & — starting from zero — now competent at, even enthusiastic about, nutrition tracking. Special thanks to my coach Arman, an encouraging, cheerful, inspiring fountain of knowledge! Arman answered all my questions, even the ones I hadn’t thought of myself!

Vegan gym is a wonderful community. All the coaches and clients treat each other with respect, encouragement, and joy. Coach Sarah Bright has been a solid part of my life over the last year and a half, and I will happily let her guide me through this healthful journey for at least the next 2 years. Coach Sarah always is detail-oriented, flexible, and considerate when working with a person like me who has a very busy life/work schedule. She even went above and beyond to do Hyrox double women with me in Chicago last year! I have accomplished so much, not only better body composition but my improved work-life-balance & stress management skill sets. I can't wait to see what has yet to come in the next 2 years! 🥳

I have had the best time working with Nathan Perrin. He has kept me on track and on goal. Nathan helps me get back on track when I stumble and makes it seamless to pick up where I left off. Very knowledgeable in nutrition and programming workouts for success

I loved working with Coach Nicole Mitsigeorgis in the Ignite Program. When I started the program, I was skinny fat and desperate to lose body fat and increase muscle. I had a personal trainer, but she is not vegan. So she couldn't really give me a meal plan I could work with. As a result I struggled with nutrition and it affected my ability to lose fat. Once I started working with Coach Nicole, I got a real understanding of macros and how to use them. As a result, I was able to dial in my eating and start to see real results with my diet and my strength training program.

I joined VSA last year and I was very skeptical. My coach was a English man named Tom. He was great, but family priorities took him out of VSA. I felt a little lost, but my new coach Tiana handled the transition beautifully. She accepted my honest feelings about being "abandoned" by one coach and being unsure with a new coach. She helped me get my bearings again in the program. I am in the maintenance phase of my journey and I believe Coach Tiana is the best for me. She has great insight on my journey. She validates my fears and feelings, but then explains in a way I can understand that I will be okay if I just trust the process. And you know what she is right. I appreciate my new coach just as much as my old coach. I know Tiana is on my side walking with me in this journey. I am thankful to have her as a coach.

Overall, the program is well-thought out, informative and very supportive. Sarah A was my coach and she is fabulous (11 out of 10)--very helpful and encouraging while being truthful and direct (which I asked her to be). She was a cheerleader at times and at others, helped pick me off the ground. For me, she made the program and I owe any success I have to her. Thank you!

I started working with VSA in July of 2025. In November I went into the Momentum phase for 1 year. This is exactly the coaching program I was searching for. I have been working with Coach Marc since the beginning. He is so knowledgeable and always helps me out with whatever questions I have for him. I appreciate the fact that Coach Marc holds me accountable. He cheers me on and is very encouraging. We not only have weekly one-on-one coaching calls, he also checks in with me throughout the week to see how things are going and if I need anything. I can also reach out to him at any time and he responds back quickly. Nutrition is a major factor in the process, and I have been learning so much. I know now to trust the process because it does work. I'm regaining my health and I am feeling stronger and more confident every day. This program in not about quick fixes it's all about sustainability. What I have been learning will last my entire life. Anyone looking forward to getting their health back and building muscle this is the place to be. There is so much information that is available here and the whole community backs you.
