I came across the VSA after switching to a vegan lifestyle earlier in the year. Having been on a weight loss journey for the past couple of years I was worried about getting in enough protein having made the switch. I was initially teamed up with Coach Brian. I felt like there was a disconnect between us. Sometimes that just happens. I did receive a text message from someone in their team asking how things were going, and I decided to be honest and let them know I really wasn't feeling it with Brian. I was quickly passed over to Coach Laura who oversees the coaches. We had a lovely chat and I was blown away by their customer services. During my time with Brian I had the experience of another coach temporarily due to vacation, and his style was much more to my liking. I mentioned this to Laura and she agreed that I could switch over to Coach Lukasz. Fast forward a couple of months. Switching over was the best thing I did and I am so grateful that the VSA team has the infrastructure they have. It's really a well oiled machine, it's very process driven and when you follow the process you get results. Lukasz has listened to my gripes and has given me support daily when I've needed it. Lukasz is very motivating and above all such a positive person with an amazing outlook on everything. I say that because we came to know each other on a personal level and when I was going through some things, he put his positive take on each of the situations. I have seen amazing results in the short time I have been with the VSA. Yes it is expensive, but the access you get to all the materials, calls and support, it's like a training gym in your back pocket. Lukasz has been supportive with form videos and advice on training every single step of the way, and for that I am eternally grateful. If you do the work you will see results. If you are making this investment in yourself, then you need to put in the time. Dont half ass it and dont do yourself a disservice by doing that. Take it seriously and you will see amazing changes. As far as the team of coaches they are all supportive, even Brian. I did have the pleasure to meet him during a couple of vegan events that I attended and he was supportive and understanding with no hard feelings. Leif and Anders have created a program that works beautifully. Their customer service is second to none, and they have such a positive safe environment in their community.

I want to thank VSA for changing my life. Joining VSA has been an excellent and insightful experience. I went into this program with little knowledge about fitness. Therefore, I appreciate the scientific approach in determining the appropriate program suited for you. I am leaving with newfound confidence to achieve my fitness goals. Three months ago, I wouldn't have believed it was something I could do. Lastly, I want to thank Coach Arman for being great. He's very knowledgeable and helps you every step of the way. Coach Arman and the other coaches are genuinely inspirational. I would recommend it to everyone. You get to join a community of fellow vegans. It's awesome!

The last three months with The Vegan Superhero Academy has been life changing for me. As a 59 year old menopausal woman, who is only 1 year out from breast cancer treatment, I had doubts about my ability to radically change my body composition. When I had my initial call with Elke to get set up with a trainer, I remember asking for a female trainer thinking a woman would be better able to understand my situation. Elke understood my apprehension and asked that I trust her to pick the best coach for me. She connected me with Coach Andrew and I knew from day one that she knew what she was doing. Andrew has been nothing short of amazing! He listened to my concerns, especially regarding my fussy joints, and built a program just for me. He stuck to the basics, no obscure exercises that I couldn’t handle. The plan was doable and not overwhelming. I have actually looked forward to going to the gym. Andrew has been non-judgmental, encouraging and motivating. He set up a nutrition plan that helped me burn fat, build muscle and not suffer from constant hunger in the process. I am currently in my 12th week and have lost a total of 11 inches and 14 pounds!! Thank you, Andrew, for being the coach I never knew I needed! My plan is to do it on my own for awhile and restart with VSA in the winter. This time I know which coach I’ll be asking for!

I want to recognize Coach Zachary Smith for his expertise as an outstanding coach. He has provided me with the support and guidance that fits me in my journey to fitness and wellness. His educational approach to what and how the nutritional and exercise plan will facilitate the goals I have set for myself is the type of cues that I have needed and I am very appreciative of everything he has done for me. I recognize the importance of honest communication between us and feel we have the right connection .

I joined the Vegan Superhero Academy in August 2022 and I have learned so much. My coach is amazing. He is informative and helpful. Through the support of my coach, the Legends team and the Vegan Gym I have lost weight, expanded my vegan eating knowledge and have gained strength through my workouts. At 60 years old it is great to find a group of like minded people to support you as you get stronger and leaner. Thank you Coach Zack!

I’ve been with VSA for just about 3 months now and I can honestly say this is the first time I have done something for my health that is sustainable. I have been struggling with my health and weight for more than 15 years and have gone from one diet to the next and tried every new fad or weight loss platform out there. I’ve been vegan for about half my life but just wasn’t doing it right and always felt like I was missing out on certain foods and craving junk. I was working from home and was pretty sedentary during the week, which wasn’t helping matters. VSA has provided me with an understanding of what my body needs, how weight loss works and an unmatched, priceless support system from both the coaches and other members. I have been lucky enough to have been paired up with Coach Lukasz, who has kept me grounded when my progress wasn’t linear and I lost patience, has been my mental health support during some very challenging and stressful weeks because of personal matters, and has given me so much support, positivity and encouragement. He’s the cheerleader I didn’t know I needed and I have come to rely on our calls for a mental health and confidence boost. I don’t know where I would be today if I hadn’t found VSA, but the doctors that were pushing for surgery just a few months ago have changed their minds, I get in at least 11,000 steps every day, I have lost 30 pounds and counting, and I just feel better than I have in a long time. I will forever be grateful.

Highlights and reasons why I would recommend the program: -From the get, I told the initial VSA team member the type of coach that I believe would serve me best. They truly listened, and matched me with Coach Andrew. This made communication way easier as we had similar communication styles, he understood that fluff is not my forte, and just let us focus on the great aspects of learning and the program were center focus.-The community is amazing but also more importantly, inspiring. Folks are transparent with their wins and opportunities, cheer each other, and ask questions you didn't even think to ask. I was not able to jump on a ton of team meetings, but when I did,  it felt like picking back up an old friend circle and able to join right in the convo.-The resources are diverse and adjustable base on folks interests and what works for them. For instance, I cannot sit through video modules, but Coach Andrew helped close the gap on education areas I was curious about.- Coach Andrew provided the perfect balance of coaching with both support and tough love at times, while being casual and welcoming where I didn't feel intimidated to share concerns or ask questions.  For those considering this program, do it, but do it with this in mind:- One on one coaching is not a one way street. You have to be ready to communicate and commit just as much as your coach is (and your coach definitely is ready). - There is a ton of virtual interaction- which is SUPER convenient. But with any social interaction, it's easy to get fatigued or overwhelmed with all the options. Don't worry, you've got a few months to figure out what spaces work for you and which ones you'll dabble in.- Use this time to not just learn about nutrition and a workout, but how you personally take ownership in that space. Does weighing yourself regularly do more harm than good? Don't do it regularly. Do you find yourself struggling to write a daily gratitude statement (this was me) - work on your brain as much as you body's health. Etc etc. Overall, if you are in the space (mentally, financially, time-wise) to do it, do it.

I'm going to start this off by saying this will be the only review you need to read. I'm gonna break it down for ya. For the stuff everyone is wondering - my starting weight was about 210, dropped 20 LBS of in only 12 weeks. I'm 28 years old at about 5'10". When I say this was a transformative experience...that the understatement of a lifetime. I've tried pretty much every other Vegan weightloss health program out there, and there's nothing that comes even close to VSA. The weightloss stuff is cool and all, but I really feel like I'm equipt with the tools to NOT ONLY continue to lose weight, but also build muscle and all the nutrition that comes along with doing it in a healthy way. Yeah, you can lose a bunch of weight if you just starve yourself, but not once did I feel like I was depriving myself to shed a few pounds, just to gain it back. I can't finish this review without giving a shoutout to my Amazing Coach Zach Smith. I mean this mans attention to detail is insane, and he shares my love of data so helping me implement a daily tracker that allowed me to check my daily, weekly, and monthly progress and remind me always that it's a marathon not a sprint. He was also there to keep me accountable and hold me to what I said I was going to the whole time. Last thing to touch on is the community. There are a bunch of other vegan badasses that will hold you to the standard that is need to achieve success (whatever that means to you). What the guys up top at VSA have created is pure genius and really help you adopt a "no vegan left behind" mentality and just seeing others win keeps you on top of your game. I can write for days on how VSA has changed my entire outlook on health and showing me that it can be done in a sustainable way, while also not sacrificing good food and proper nutrition. No more tofu, rice, and brocolli every night thinking that's what I had to do to see weightloss lol. If you're thinking about joining VSA and you've read this far, I want you to consider 3 things. #1 - You wouldn't have read THIS far into this review if this isn't what you needed. #2 - you're going to spend money on going out to dinner and other stupid stuff anyway, so why not invest in yourself first? Or even in hospital bills down the road... #3 - How long are you going to allow yourself to NOT hit your fitness goals and hit your body's true potential? All that being said, VSA is world class and as the title of this review says "If you don't sign up, you're being silly" Get after it, make the right decision, and if you jump in, I'll see ya in there ;)
