DO NOT USE THEM
DO NOT USE THEM! I swear they are so bad at trading. I've signed up for their annual subscription from all the positive reviews I've read online (big mistake) and now, I regret it. From the first week of following their recommended trades, I lost $3k. I sent an email to their support team and they reassured me they have days where they win and days where they lose but overall, their win rate is quite high (~61%). I decided to believe them and continued following their trades and that was the worst mistake. I am now down $15k from following their advice and I'm at the point where I ignore all of their trade advice. Some of the trade they make is incredibly stupid too. For example, when the whole market is crashing, they will tell you to buy call options on qqq or on a specific stock, but then shortly will tell you to exit the option at a loss. I've learned to do the opposite of what the tradinganalyst recommends and I would have a better outcome. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!!!!
Response from The Trading AnalystMay 8, 2024
Dear Kevin, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear that your experience has not met your expectations, and we value the opportunity to address the concerns you've raised. We would like to clarify some key aspects of your membership and our recent trading performance: Our records suggest you joined The Trading Analyst on March 1, 2024. Over the subsequent two months, our momentum trading strategies achieved a 70% win rate, contributing to an overall profit of over $1,500 by the time of your review, despite some of our trades breaking even. Though this may not be a substantial sum, it is still a positive result. Our swing trading strategy, during the same period, recorded a 50% win rate, generating slightly over $300 in profit. Additionally, several longer-term swing trades we initiated in April are still active and showing promise. We recognized that you're relatively new to options trading, based on your previous communications with our Customer Support team. This is why we HIGHLY encouraged paper trading to familiarize yourself with our trading strategies. Most importantly, our trade alerts DID NOT result in an overall financial loss during these two months. Regarding the substantial losses you mentioned in your review, our Portfolio Tracker—which all members have full access to—clearly indicates our trades DID NOT result in the $15,000 loss you claim. Quite the contrary, our trades have resulted in a profit during these two months. For instance, in your first week—which you described in your review as particularly challenging with a reported $3,000 in losses—our records indicate that there were two breakeven momentum trades and one winning trade, which means that no losses were incurred. However, we understand that our service may not have met your expectations or aligned with your preferred trading strategy or style, which is why we reached out to you directly to resolve this situation amicably—an offer that remains open. Our goal isn't just to address a negative review, but to ensure that the performance and service we provide are accurately represented. Your claims are objectively inaccurate, which suggests a misunderstanding somewhere. We encourage you to contact us directly so we can further discuss your experiences and hopefully resolve any outstanding issues. We want to help you better understand trading, and we believe we can do just that. Warmest regards, The Trading Analyst Team
