Lebanese Arabic AcceleratorReviews of thespokenarabic.com

The teacher is very friendly and kind...willing to help. The course is very informative. Definitelly, one of the courses with a good quality. The pros are: You learn really useful vocabulary from the scratch and they help you speak it at a very good level They have great custommer support, willing to help you if you have any problem. Cons: Some materials can not be downloaded (some pdf files, videos can not be downloaded... also there are no audio files or video files I can doeload for the dialogues..just document of the whole transcription) The video sessoon did not reach my expectations because it seemed to me like being at school (just listen and repeat...) instead of being involved as much as possible with every session we pass. It'd be good if they would improve the structure of the course.

I've heard very good things of this course recommended to me by friends. I've always wished to learn spoken Arabic so am seriously thinking of giving it a try in the near future.

Learning any language can be a challenge, even for those who are motivated. Arabic in particular-with its diglossia and non-Latin script-may appear especially intimidating. As someone who wants to travel in the Middle East and work in diplomacy, I was happy to take my first steps with MatarTV's Lebanese Arabic Accelerator. What I like the most is Ali's sympathy and teaching style. I have studied other languages through classes and self-teaching and I do not feel overwhelmed by the expectations of his program. I feel like I will able to speak with people, using both their idioms and grammar comfortably, when I go over to Lebanon and the Gulf States. One of the things that could be improved is marker colors used in the first videos. They should be more consistent to differentiate masculine and feminine terms. As well, the review sessions could be held later in the day on Saturday. Notwithstanding, I am glad that I purchased the course.
