Lebanese Arabic AcceleratorReviews of thespokenarabic.com

I came across these funny videos about being Lebanese, which really grabbed my attention! I later discovered Ali was offering a full course in Lebanese Arabic. The detailed online platform covering everything from grammar to expressions is unlike any other Arabic course I have tried. The modules and videos for each lesson are lively and engaging. The self paced platform, coupled with weekly live interactive sessions truly set this learning system apart from others, as the weekly sessions offer a place to practice and this is key! Ali is always available for questions and responds quickly. His team is fantastic, you feel they really want you to improve. Other Arabic courses have not been as relevant to acquiring fluency in spoken Arabic, but rather focusing on formal Arabic. With so many Lebanese outside of Lebanon and it being such a desirable culture; Ali has touched upon a real need for those who want to learn! It's fantastic course, sign up!

Having learnt Levantine Arabic at College but finding it hard to practice hence tending to forget what I've been learning as a consequence, I'm loving this course. Perfect to top up my university classes and also recommended as a stand alone if you don't want to go to school due to time, budget, preference or lifestyle. The videos are great, Ali is super friendly and clear but I'm really loving the conversation sessions with Jean-Pierre and interacting with others on this journey.

I heard about this course through the Matar TV youtube channel and I am extremely happy that I decided to give it a try. I have tried many other arabic courses over the last 4 months and have been very frustrated with the lack of quality and found it very hard to find any courses that focused on actually learning the spoken arabic language. The learning material on this platform 100% focuses on teaching the learners how to understand and speak the Lebanese language. There are many different types of modules that include vocabulary, listening, reading, and speaking. I also really enjoy the livestream zoom meetings every Saturday where we get to practice our language skills with a native speaking tutor. Ali has done a great job with this platform and he is available 24/7 to answer any questions. I have texted him many times with questions and have received answers back instantly. This is not something I have seen with any other language learning programs. I highly recommend this program if you are looking to learn the Lebanese language and actually communicate in daily conversations with other arabic speakers.

I am begginer in Lebanese dialect. And platform that teacher Ali suggests is perfect option for those who really need spoken lebanese arabic. I bought course and find it very easy for understanding, step by step modules, and the most important thing is it's not boring like many other academic courses. Additionally I participate regularly on live sessions, that are so interesting for me, because it's not only about learning language (btw both english and arabic), but also about discovering many new things about Lebanon, lebanese culture, mentality, music and exchanging opinions, conversations, that is also opposite to just boring academic studying. I strongly recommend this platform to all who wants to learn live arabic language in interesting and attractive way.

I've been very happy with my decision to sign up for this course. The high-quality content paired with the flexible nature of an online platform is perfect for someone with an unpredictable schedule like mine. I'm able to work on my Lebanese Arabic at my own pace, but the live stream conversation sessions keep me engaged so that this doesn't get put on the back burner like so many other online programs. The lessons are short, easy-to-follow, and you can bounce around in whatever order you want to proceed. The resources are also great, especially the verb conjugations! It has also been fun seeing who else is studying Lebanese Arabic and why.

I am very happy to have stumbled across Ali's Lebanese Arabic course. I was looking for a course that would teach the colloquial Arabic spoken in one of the Levantine countries. I found Ali via youtube and discovered this course. One thing I like a lot about the platform is that the modules are short and self paced. So if I have a couple weeks where i'm too busy to dedicate a large amount of time to learning, then I can still watch a module and review what I've already done in about 20 minutes, but if I have more time then I can study as much as possible. It is also obvious that Ali cares a lot that you're getting the most out of the platform and making progress towards learning the language. He adds content to it consistently and seems to remember all his students well. If you wish to learn Lebanese Arabic the way that people speak it on a daily basis, then I highly recommend this course. This is far better than alternatives I've found which either focus on Modern Standard Arabic or another colloquial dialect (mostly Egyptian).

I'm so happy I purchased this course even though It was a bit expensive for me. But it's worth it. I've been working with Arabs for the past couple years and I thought the previous Arabic that I was taught can help me but I was wrong. My friends would laugh at me when I would start speaking. The good thing about this Lebanese course is that it teaches you how to speak the way people speak nowadays and not the traditional way. The modules are short which is great for people with short attention span like me lol It has very interesting material and you can go and use it right away. Shopping, talking, food, interests, etc. You don't have to necessarily follow the order of the modules so if you get tired of learning verbs, you can switch to another section and have more fun and get back to that part later. He also updates the platform which is great. Personally it is easy for me to learn from him because I was familiar with this language but it's not impossible for anyone to learn it if they don't know a single word. It's a very smooth language course and Ali even teaches you some techniques for learning a new language. Another good point about this course is that you constantly receive emails from them about different topics and updates. While ago I decided to learn Arabic and I bought books and downloaded the Duolingo app to start my journey. Gosh, It was the biggest mistake. If you really want to learn the proper Arabic and be able to speak with people, purchase this course. You will not be disappointed. I cannot wait for more updates. Thanks to Ali and his amazing team for creating this course for us. To sum it up, If you are in doubt to purchase this course, listen to me and buy it. It's not like any other Arabic course, book or even channel on youtube! I hope my review helped :)

Content is quite big with increasing levels. Lessons are short at the beginning to let you assimilate what you just learn and with few reminders from lessons to lessons. Ali, the teacher, is very dynamic and funny which makes it very enjoyable. I haven't finish all the module but I can already see that he has a big knowledge about country and he already gave us very helpful other sources to progress like films and series to watch. Also, there is common talking time with all students where everybody can bring and learn at his own pace. It is corresponding to my needs as I wanted to learn an Arabic dialect, specially lebanese dialect, and not modern standard Arabic as my goal is to speak with people a real common language.
