This course is exactly what I have been needing! As a Lebanese born in America I have always struggled dedicating time and energy to learning Arabic fully. With family it always felt frustrating and embarrassing to even try. I found this course through watching youtube videos that felt SO relatable and happened to receive the email when I was truly ready to give it my all. The course online goes through spoken arabic in easy digestible parts. The weekly zooms held by Jean Pierre has helped me get over the stage fright of speaking and forming more complete sentences. I look forward to learning and speaking in the class. It has given me more vocabulary and confidence to speak my native language. Incredibly grateful for this course !

I had learned Egyptian Colloquial many years ago in school and have always wanted to improve my spoken Arabic than trying to converse in MSA, yikes. I happened to find myself on Ali's YouTube channel watching many of his videos and learned he also offered a course. After searching different platforms and going through different tutors I decided to the learn the Lebanese dialect via his accelerated course. Wow- is such a small word, but truly describes how happy I am that I found this course which has so much to offer from the modules, grammar, the weekly sessions and the WhatsApp group. Ali's teaching method are simple yet effective. Hajar and Jean Pierre's weekly Zoom's sessions are fun and interactive- and they are honestly the best. It's a course that I would definitely recommend and already have.

I had been learning Lebanese Arabic for a while before I started this course, but my learning was based on picking up words from my Lebanese friends rather than understanding the full meaning and being able to construct my own sentences. I really struggled to find any good resources online before finding this course. The best part is that there are weekly live sessions alongside the course where we go over new and old topics. Jean-Pierre has really built my confidence and I could never repay him for how much he has helped and supported me.

Amazing course!! I’ve tried so many online Lebanese Arabic tutors and most of them did not work for me. This has been the one thing that has really walked me through the language and helped me learn more. I am so thankful for Ali and the team!

I started learning Arabic 2 years ago, on my own with books and trying to speak with as many native speakers as possible. This worked ‘sort of’ well but I found myself facing many different dialects. I chose to focus on Levantine a year ago but because I wanted to learn Arabic in a more natural way (like a child who learns to listen/speak first before reading and writing), it was hard finding a formal program that allowed for this type of natural learning. This course is exactly what I needed. Learning Arabic on my own has been interesting to say the least but L.A.A. has been a game changer for me!! I have been going through the sessions on my own and recently stated attending the Zoom sessions. I am looking forward to more and more opportunities to enhance what I have already learned and to laser-focus on the specifics of spoken Arabic with L.A.A. Thank you for creating this program!! It’s incredible!

I've been wanting to learn Arabic for a very long time and I'm so glad to have enrolled in the Lebanese Arabic Accelorator! In the first few weeks of lecture, I have already learned so much (way more than I thought I'd ever learn within only weeks of taking the class). What I love is that this course equips you with a lot of resources so you don't feel lost or overwhelmed. In the lectures, Ali breaks down the detail of each subject in a way that's easy to understand and the interactive quizzes help so much with actually retaining the info. The 24-hour chat support is super helpful if I have a question and the instructors are always there to help! I also really like the fact that there are zoom sessions with the instructors and other students. In order to learn a language it's important to practice. However, where I live there is not that much opportunity to speak Arabic and when I am around Arabic speakers I feel shy to speak. In the zoom class, everyone is there to help you and I learn something new each time. There are so many modules & a lesson for any occasion. Along with the lectures, the Lebanese 101 book has everything in detail and is great to go over if there was something I needed more clarity on. Overall, I recommend the Lebanese Accelerator for anybody who is interested in learning spoken Arabic.

I LOVE this! I’ve met so many Lebanese Arabic speakers in the past few years and finally took it as a sign I should learn the language. I had trouble finding resources but finally stumbled upon Ali’s program via his YouTube channel (since I’d been doing plenty of googling and who doesn’t want a good laugh). When I finally signed up for the course with all the online material and the live online sessions every week, I was really nervous about having to speak words I’d never spoken before, but everyone is super welcoming and supportive and I’m so happy I finally signed up and took the plunge. It’s a great way to learn a new language, new culture, etc.! COVID work-from-home gave me more time, and since it’s already so accessible, I had no reason not to go for it!

I had to save up a bit to purchase this course but it was deffinetly worth it!! I started around mid may, thought I would take my time and garantie a solid review. Of course my progress has been a bit slow learning a language requires patiences. I first started out studying fusha for a year in my universty, derailed me quickly to learn the language people just didnt understand me. later learning that theres a HUGE diffrence between spoken and standered arabic so decide to get back on the horse and try agian why not?! but nope nope it didnt go well. 1. theres just to manny diallects to choose 2. HUGE lack in resourses available to learn from Two big punches in the face that really didnt help me at all which left me even more unmotivated in a loop of confusion. I later found Ali on youtube and Udemy where I was hesitant at first as I didnt want to give the language a third try but after a couple of pushes I decided to go for it and chose to settle with the lebanese diallect as manny of my friends where palestinian or fom Lebanon and Jordon. The lack of resourse out their Ali compansates teaching the learners how to understand and speak the Lebanese language from grammer videos to vocabulary, listening, reading, and speaking in addition to livestream. He adds content to it consistently, covers not just the language but the culture, makes videos on demand if necessary and is always available 24/7 to help. For any wandering travelier out there who was in the same boat as I was, This reasorce Ali provides is a gold mine of knowledge (I can garentee Ive even been to the dept of underworld to find resources)
