We were growing fast and trying to keep up. Mary helped us untangle a lot of things we had duct-taped together and gave us a structure that finally made sense. She was responsive, thoughtful, and explained everything in a way that made sense. I never felt judged, just supported. Everything just works better now.

Mary understood right away what we were struggling with. We’re not HR experts—we just needed someone who could help us set things up the right way. She didn’t overcomplicate anything or talk over our heads. Instead, she worked with us, took care of everything, and gave us the tools to actually run things ourselves. We feel way more confident now.

I didn’t realize how much I needed The Shiftly until they came on board. HR and payroll were always on my to-do list, but I constantly found ways to put them off. Mary simplified everything and made it feel doable. Now, I feel more in control, and nothing is slipping through the cracks.

We felt supported every step of the way. From our very first conversation, it was obvious that Mary genuinely wanted to understand our business. She asked the right questions, and made sure we felt heard. The transition—from setting up payroll systems to onboarding new employees—became so much easier, and we’re in a much stronger position because of it. Working with her made all the difference for our HR.

I highly recommend The Shiftly to any organization looking for top tier HR consulting and support. Their services are insightful, strategic, and tailored to meet real business needs. The founder, Mary Southworth, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. I had the pleasure of working directly with Mary at Zuri Furniture, where her HR expertise played a huge role in shaping a more efficient, people focused workplace. Mary has a deep understanding of complex HR topics, from compliance to talent development, and she always communicates with clarity, professionalism, and empathy. Her ability to navigate difficult situations with fairness and insight is truly impressive. The value they provide goes beyond traditional consulting it’s about helping people and companies thrive.
