I purchased the rainmaker challenge. I did some research after (I should have done it prior) and decided it wasn’t something I was interested in. I emailed for a refund a couple hours after I purchased. I got a response this morning tell me, “it would be a disservice for them to refund me without me trying the first two days and to do the first two days and then request a refund then.” I emailed back stated no thanks, please refund.
Basically what they do is hope that you forget to email by their deadline so they can refuse to refund your money back. After reading reviews and digging into what they are selling a little more it sounds icky. I’ll be emailing today and tomorrow for my refund. We’ll see if I actually get it.

Hey Kaycie!
Oftentimes when we're fighting for something like financial breakthrough there are "walls" that can come up to prevent us from breaking through that will keep us stuck where we are if we don't push through. This is why we try to encourage our challengers to continue through at least day 2.
We see that you responded to our message about our refund policy and said that you would prefer the refund instead which our team granted immediately and processed your refund less than 24 hours before your initial email (now you have to admit thats some awesome customer support ;) )
We've helped countless community members to have this amazing financial breakthrough and we just want this same experience for everyone who comes through our program. However, we totally understand its not for everyone and we were happy to bless you out. We hope that you will consider coming back one day!

Too good to be true. Stay away! $5k just the start of the wasted money and empty promises
They promise you tons of support and a “great” training program and that’s not what you get. Training is a bunch of videos. The coach I was assigned too did not provide ANY support. I hussle and kept firing off questions and product ideas and got zero support or guidance. They make it sound like earning thousands is the norm and it’s FAR from the truth. Being added to the Facebook group was eye opening when you see floods of posts from people that invest all their savings and time after time their products fail and they are ruined financially. Unless you want to waste $5k for the “training” don’t bother, and that’s just the start!
Edit to their response-
It’s funny you say there was additional coaching for purchase because when I asked for it since I felt I needed extra time and assistance I was told I couldn’t purchase extra coaching and to go to a Facebook group for help. To me that’s not coaching. Not what you should get for $5k to be sent to a Facebook group when you needed support. I have posted in the group in the past and spoke to several frustrated people in the same spot as I was, so it’s funny you try to put it back in the individual when there are tons of people in my same position and feeling this way. Certainly it was not what was sold to us and the support was virtually none.

Hey Christine, We spoke with your coach and looked through your conversations and see that she provided tons of additional support (even outside of the expectation) but we are not surprised because our team members love to over deliver.
When you purchased our course, we explained upfront that it is a course that is delivered via an app with all of the course videos/content. Our mentorship program comes with a coaching bonus as well. All of those promises (with tons of additional bonuses) were fulfilled.
We are so confident in our program that we have a 10K guarantee. We know that you expressed fear about your coaching period ending and wanting to continue but felt as though you needed a one on one coach so that you had some additional hand holding. We want to let you know that we always offer additional coaching sessions and various upgrades to help you level up any time you feel stuck. In addition to the coaching period that you completed, we have daily coaching calls within our Facebook group, it doesn't look like you utilized those to their full potential and we would love to help you get back on track and see you create that family legacy that you were looking for when you joined us. :)

Totally worth it
Totally worth it! This training had all the basics that you need to get started on your journey to selling on Amazon.

Unethical way to make money.
I really wanted to like this/pursue this, but unfortunately you have to be willing to compromise on your ethics. To be profitable and sustainable, you need to find CHEAP products made in China to resell for way more than they are worth. If you turn a blind eye and are willing to do so, then this is for you. I couldn’t bring myself to buy items from factories I’ve never seen and risk hurting other humans for my gain. I’m glad that I took the class honestly solely to see the scam behind most things on Amazon. I’ve become a more conscious buyer because of it.

They're not. We pretty sure teach how to work with ethical manufacturers that have certain certifications to ensure you can be proud of where your products are made.
Regardless of where you choose to manufacture your product, at the end of the day, this is your business, and you can do it however you like. Researching a manufacturer's practices before buying can help you make informed decisions, ensuring they are not produced in sweatshops, just like the information in our guidelines.

I am going on day 7 of the rainmaker…
I am going on day 7 of the rainmaker challenge and I feel like I only stuck it out in hopes that it would get better/more in-depth further in, but it didn’t. I should have requested a refund on day 2 and since I didn’t, I’m out a bunch of money.
They talk about being action takers, but only a small amount of time each day shows you the how-to’s. There is a TON of fluff, sales pitches, and feel-good testimonials. Each daily video is around 1-1.5 hours long and the vast majority of that content is either pushing the power of positivity or trying to get you to upgrade and buy their extremely expensive courses. If you don’t upgrade, you’re just not an action taker. They encourage making risky financial decisions by using an analogy that compares waiting to buy their course when you aren’t in financial position to invest in it yet to waiting to go to the gym because you aren’t fit yet.
The really tricky thing about this is that they aren’t completely wrong in what they’re saying. Sometimes people do have to take a leap of faith. It truly is hard to fail if you never give up. Retraining your brain to think “how can I?” instead of “I can’t!” is incredibly beneficial in a lot of areas. Positive thinking does help people to become successful… but those things are not everything. I cannot move past the fact that they are promising people positive outcomes and encouraging them to take on a massive amount of debt even if they may already be up to their ears in debt. In which case they wouldn’t be able to withstand the blow if success doesn’t come right away. This could cause a lot of harm!
Also, I think they should make people more aware of the accounts and subscriptions you have to get for the course. If you don’t get these, you’re not an action taker! A Helium10 subscription costs $50-$100 a month. You will also be asked to sign up for an Alibaba account and possibly some others. These accounts and subscriptions are very important for this type of business, but I felt they should have been more upfront about them so I could have researched and planned better.

Hi Emma, thank you for your honest feedback about us. We understand your frustration with the lack of actionable content and concerns about the financial aspects. We take all feedback seriously and appreciate you helping us improve.
1. We hear you loud and clear! We're continuously updating our content and recently incorporated more focused "how-to" lessons. We strive to ensure a good balance. Currently, at the time of writing this, we already updated the course and laid out the upfront cost in detail right towards the beginning. Our program isn’t about selling you and making you feel you're not an action-taker. Please remember that we intend to push you to take something action on positive, and bring the best out of you.
2. We acknowledge your concerns about debt and encourage responsible financial planning. While strategic use of debt can accelerate growth for some, it's not a one-size-fits-all solution. Perspective is everything, and it depends on your own comfortability. So it's important to assess your situation first and make a decision suited for you, and don't take it as we heavily vetted for it to do so... please know that our efforts are all about helping you to achieve the family legacy and lifestyle you desire and not the other way around.
Our in-depth program aims to offer tools, accountability, expertise, and a supportive community to help you succeed. However, it's important to understand that success is not guaranteed and requires consistent effort. We offer the 10k guarantee and timelines to incentivize action and minimize risk, not pressure you into decisions beyond your means.
We truly remain dedicated to empowering individuals like you, and we'd love to invite you to a complimentary restart for you, and see if we can tailor a solution that works for you.

Spammy Scammy People
I've received unsolicited messages on Instagram from two different "Rainmaker" accounts. The first time it happened, I thought it was way out of place and quite scammy/spammy. So I did some independent research into this "organization." I'm the least naive person you'll ever meet and look into EVERYTHING and EVERYONE--especially where my and my family's finances are concerned. The results of my investigation proved my gut instinct to be spot on. These people are, IMHO, Scammy and spammy.
I received another UNSOLICITED message from them TODAY so I decided to leave this review as to their "business practices."
I invite anyone reading this to do their own independent research as well. Be that as it may, PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR THEIR CRAP. STAY AWAY!
Response from Rainmaker FamilyFeb 15, 2024
Apologies for the delayed response, Chris. If you are willing, we encourage you to reach out to our support channel to discuss this, and would like to know more details about this, and it would be helpful if you could provide a screenshot of the account you encountered with as well.
Here at Rainmaker, we will never send unsolicited direct messages asking for something, and these accounts might pretend to be us, follow our followers and then engage with them.

Learned a new skillset that will benefit my family
It sure hasn't been an easy road to walk on, since learning a new skillset always takes time, but I am so glad that I have stuck to it.
I had a small pastry business (before joining Rainmakers) doing local markets, selling to coffeeshops, local and out of state restaurants for about 4 years, and I honestly was getting burnt out. I was doing all of that physical work and sacrificing a lot of time into that business without seeing a high financial return. So I felt the need to have a way to make PASSIVE INCOME, and that is when I came across the Rainmaker Challenge. I took the leap of faith and joined. Oh man! It was scary going through the process at times, but with the resourceful videos and taking advantage of the growing community, I have done it! Stephen and Chelsey have grown Rainmakers a lot the past 3 years since I joined, and they have built a very helpful library of resources and tutorials to help me along the way. At times, it doesn't feel like 100% passive yet since you have to put some sweat, time, and money in the beginning, but compared to making pastries, it has been so much more hands off and easy to mainly work off the computer. I have finally hit $100K in revenue and also $1K in one day recently. I am excited to see where I can take this growing business of mine, and grateful that I had found the Rainmaker Academy.
