The ring/stand mechanism should maintain its tension for normal daily use. If it's already unable to hold its position after only a handful of weeks, that points to either: A defective hinge mechanism Premature wear in that specific unit Or a production issue that we need to investigate Either way, a premium-priced case should last significantly longer than that. Hi Jeff, We'll be direct. If the magnet is so weak that it can't reliably attach to your accessories or mounting setup, then the product failed its purpose for you. That said, we'd like to understand a bit more before jumping to conclusions. We sell thousands of magnetic cases and while magnet strength is subjective, we don't commonly receive reports that they "cannot connect to anything at all." A few things can affect performance: The specific phone model The accessory being used (charger, mount, wallet, stand, etc.) Alignment between the accessory and magnetic ring However, if your experience is genuinely that the magnet is unusable, then that's not acceptable regardless of the reason.
