I had place my order on April 2nd, but did not receive the wine until April 6. For some reason the shipping was delayed a day from what was initially declared, which landed my delivery date on a very hot day. I'm not sure if it was that, or improper storage of the wine, but the box did arrive hot, and the bottles noticeably hot to the touch after a full day of sitting in a delivery truck (wine wasn't delivered til 6pm) - but the wine is definitely maderized to some degree. I'm very familiar with this vintage and purchased from The Organic Wine Store because the shop I usually buy from was out of stock. Very noticeable difference due to "cooked" qualities.

Dear Aaron, it does happen sometimes with wine that a bottle arrives not in the perfect way it is meant to be. It happens sometimes at restaurants as well! Although we can argue that in this occasion UPS is at fault surely more than us, -because we keep wine in a refrigerated warehouse and controlled humidity,- in the rare occasion it happens that a product arrives not in a perfect shape, we are happy to find a solution together with the client who contacts us through the website customer service contacts. As you can see by our reviews (ALL 5-stars! before yours) we are proud of our outstanding customer service.
