LOS MODS SON XENOFOBICOS, TRANSFOBICOS, DEFENSORES DE DICTADURAS DE LATAM, Y ME BORRARON TODAS MIS IMAGENES SOLO PORQUE ME ODIAN

The moderators om TMDb would suspend accounts for no better reason, they will look for any tiny excuses to ban you permanently even if you were only trying to add the correct information. I've contributed over 10,000 useful info but got banned because of some images don't meet their requirements, and they don't tell me which ones, but banned me immediately! It feels dictatorship. I wouldn't use this site if not for Letterboxd. AVOID!

I had my first big screening for my first feature, "My Summer Vacation (2025)," at my first legitimate big festival, so when I decided to submit a profile of the film to TMDB, they almost instantly removed the film citing it being an "amateur work". Even after I supported all of the evidence that it fit every single criteria on their website, the moderator said they would need to get it by their superior for a second opinion. ONE YEAR LATER they haven't responded so I message them again, only for the moderator to say it doesn't fit the criteria, an almost copy and pasted reply from what they said above.

I created an account on this website specifically to help fix incorrect anime episode air dates. After successfully updating one entry, I noticed two locked episodes with wrong dates and submitted reports for them. Just a few minutes later, I received a response claiming I was wrong. To prove my point, I sent screenshots from the Crunchyroll app showing that I had already watched the episodes in question, episodes the site claimed had not aired yet. Their response was simply that Crunchyroll is not the original broadcaster. I explained that I fully understood that distinction, but if the episode was already available to stream on Crunchyroll, it meant the original broadcaster had already aired it and Crunchyroll had subsequently released it. Instead of acknowledging this obvious logic, they doubled down, insisted I was wrong, and claimed their release dates were absolute. I ended up deleting my account immediately. A platform that asks for community contributions but refuses to listen to members, even when presented with clear, undeniable evidence, does not deserve user support or engagement.

I written reviews for them for years, over 600 reviews but noticed recently some of my reviews started being deleted. I'm not abusive, I'm not defamatory but I'm also not woke and make a fair but balanced points on this basis. Typically quite mildly. No communication, no explanation, my creative efforts gone without explanation. Really angry with TMDB and wont be writing for them in future.

No way

Absolute pure discrimination against independent filmmakers. I got my films and my profile taken down a while ago because they were "unofficial," so I spent a while getting them entered to festivals and working on myself. I got my film accepted into multiple film festivals and I even won an acting award at the American college Theatre Festival in Albany NY. And yet despite this, TMDB moderators banned my new account within 24 hours, and once again taken down ALL of my contributions and have not given me a chance to dispute this. They claim to be about acceptance and diversity but it is clear they only care about famous big budget Hollywood movies. Such a great website if it weren't for the absolutely ridiculous rules and even worse moderators.
