My Dad is 87 and lives by himself
My Dad is 87 and lives by himself. The Monitoring Centre keeps robocalling me saying there is a problem at his address (37 times in two months). I cannot phone them back to have defective equipment repaired, as they do not accept incoming calls. When he attempts to contact them, they resist attempting to correct the problem, and threaten to charge him $90.00 to check his equipment. In the past, when the alarm has gone off, they phone me, leave a message that the alarm has gone off, and that is it. I live far away and am unable to respond. My expectations are that they would address the problem in real time, send a security team or call 911. This is not happening. Customers are paying for a false sense of security.

Hi William ... We do apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced. I understand you have spoken to our Service team who outlined the nature of the robocalls which are not emergency calls. We have updated a work order to work with your father on resolving his communication issue and put on hold the reminder calls. It is important to note please William that our 1-866-247-4999 number absolutely receives incoming calls and we have had multiple instances of contact by account holders calling in for assistance. We have however passed on your call information to our operations team if you've had any instance of difficulty reaching an operator. We Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to address this situation. If I can be of any further assistance please feel free to contact me directly, Mirella, Sales Manager 1-866-247-4999 Ext 2235 or [email protected]
