enjoyed class but got charged for a coaching session I cancelled
I learned a lot in Tawnya's class and appreciate the resources she offered. The budget tracker and debt snowball spreadsheet have been incredibly helpful and I've been using them for the last several months since taking the course and they are really straightforward to follow and easy to understand. I've never budgeted before and I feel on track to paying down my debt in the next year or so. It was inspiring and hopeful to hear Tawnya's story about the amount of debt she paid down, as I have a similar amount I am juggling. I did pay for a few sessions of personal coaching. I am deducting a star because I decided to cancel my recurring coaching sessions almost a week and a half in advance (due to receiving several helpful sessions and redelegating my budget) and the followup and refund procedure was a bit clunky. I followed policy and let her know well in advance but I felt a bit like I got lost in the sauce... I still got charged, and then when I finally got refunded a week later, she deducted $6 from my total to cover her fees. It's only $6, but I feel that wasn't best practice as a business owner since I did give a lot of advance notice that I wanted to cancel my reoccurring expense (so I shouldn't have gotten charged in the first place), and ironic because as a financial student here you are literally learning zero-based budgeting where you account for every single dollar. But I did get a lot of value from the class and I appreciate what I learned and would recommend people take it if they are getting their feet wet with financial literacy.

Hey Anna! Sorry for any confusion on cancelling and just to clarify I did respond a few days later to your request asking about cancelling, but the process of cancelling the subscription still had to be completed on your end like any normal subscription and I never received a response until after the charge had already went through. Normal refunds process within 7 business days which I did do so in that timeframe. Again I apologize for the mix up and wish you all the success and abundance on your personal finance journey. xx Tawnya
