ThSigned up under pressure during Zoom sales call — full refund denied despite canceling within 24 hourse initial Zoom conference call was…
The initial Zoom conference call was supposed to be a review of a $90 bloodwork test offered by The Health Institute. Instead, the entire call was designed to pressure me into signing up for the $8,497 Cellular Health Regenerator Program. I signed the agreement on March 12, 2026, during the live Zoom sales presentation. The representative emailed me the 11-page contract and strongly pressured me to review and sign it right then while still on the call. I felt I had no real time to read the terms carefully. Less than 24 hours later, on March 13, 2026, I notified them in writing that I wanted to cancel — before any coaching sessions, before any supplements or bloodwork kits shipped, and before accessing the portal. They refused the refund, citing the contract’s “no refund under any circumstances” clause. I also filed a dispute with American Express the same day. I later sent a detailed complaint letter to their verified Franklin, TN address. It was opened and returned to me without any response or acknowledgment. This experience matches what many other reviewers describe: high-pressure sales tactics during the consultation and an extremely one-sided no-refund policy that leaves customers with almost no recourse even when canceling immediately. The program is marketed as non-medical coaching with no guaranteed results, yet they make it very difficult to back out once the agreement is signed. I do not recommend this program or company for anyone considering a large upfront payment. Proceed with extreme caution and read every word of the contract before signing — or better yet, avoid the high-pressure Zoom sales calls altogether.
Response from The Health Institute With Dr. Josh AxeApr 22, 2026
Kevin, We understand how frustrating this experience has been, and we take feedback like this seriously. After reviewing your account, we can confirm that your cancellation request was received shortly after enrollment. Cancellation is always an option, but refunds are not guaranteed. As outlined in the agreement signed at the time of enrollment, the program does not include a refund window once the contract has been executed. We understand that this can be difficult when expectations and timing do not fully align. Our program is designed to support individuals through a committed wellness journey, and we recognize that making that level of commitment can feel overwhelming at times. While a refund may not be available, our team does work to offer other options, alternatives, and support pathways when possible. Reconnecting with our team often allows us to help identify solutions that better support each individual’s situation and success within the program. We also want to clarify that our consultations are intended to be educational and supportive conversations. The goal is to help individuals better understand their health concerns and explore what it could look like to address them within a structured program. Enrollment is always optional, and the decision to move forward is made by each participant. Since your request, our team has made multiple attempts to reach you to discuss available options and ensure you still have access to support and value through the program. We remain open to working with you and encourage you to reconnect with our team so we can assist you directly. We respect your perspective and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. With respect, The Health Institute Team
