The Health Institute Offers a Healthy, Life Changing Experience
The Health Institute offered such a comprehensive, overall health evaluation --- beginning with an in-depth blood work up that spotted areas of weakness in my health. The supplements helped immensely and the focus on eating healthy, eliminating certain foods, getting exercise, and paying attention to my thoughts and peace of mind, all contributed to the elimination my extreme joint pain! I was amazed how much better I began sleeping, and even going to the bathroom became regular!!!! The monthly consultation support kept me accountable to stay focused on eating well and getting more movement. Although the program was expensive, I highly recommend THE HEALTH INSTITUTE. Dr. Axe is brilliant and offers amazing short video lessons that are practical and informative. He is well-balanced and takes into consideration the whole person: spirit, soul, and body. The focus on getting to the root problem of disease. I learned so much over the last four months.

Nancy,
Reading this made me smile! It's always encouraging to hear from someone who experienced improvements they weren't even expecting.
I especially loved that you mentioned how the combination of nutrition, movement, mindset, and ongoing accountability all worked together to support your health. There's rarely one magic solution, and your experience is a great example of how small, consistent changes can add up over time.
Thank you for trusting us with your health journey and for taking the time to recommend us to others. We wish you continued success as you keep building on the progress you've made!

NO ONES PERFECT
I can't say enough about how this company and my practitioner Josh Saint has helped me in correcting alot of my eating habits . Many of my habits have been around along time and I never thought that they could be changed. But they have and I feel so much healthier with much more energy . This is not a diet but a lifestyle change that will stick with you forever and you won't want to go back to your old ways. Even some changes occured without me trying to change them because of this program. If you are considering a program that will get to the core of the problem which is our "cells" you need to look into this . You won't regret it...

Mona,
One of my favorite parts of your review was when you said, "This is not a diet but a lifestyle change." That really gets to the heart of what we're trying to help people achieve!
Changing habits that have been part of your life for years isn't easy, so it's wonderful to hear that you're not only feeling healthier and more energized, but that you saw positive changes happen naturally along the way. We're also so glad Josh was able to support and encourage you throughout the process.
Thank you for trusting us with your health journey and for taking the time to share your experience. We wish you continued success as you keep building on these healthy habits for years to come.

Dr. Axe Health Institute Program Experience
Years ago I bought Dr. Axe’s book / program after watching him on PBS. Unfortunately, I could not or did not stick to it. Fast forward to early this year, I started this program out of frustration regarding the direction my health was heading. I was having issues with digestion, kidneys, knee joints, stomach and sleep. I never knew from day-to-day what my bowel activity would be, whether difficult or loose. This was affecting my social life. Kidney and stomach issues were somewhat related. I had been taking Nexium for indigestion and GERD, discovering that I had developed stage 3 kidney failure as a result from taking the drug for too many years. My knee issues were from a Baker’s cyst behind my right knee followed by continuing joint issues once the cyst dissipated. Finally, I developed skin sensitivities and allergies.
Answers to my issues from doctors were more prescriptions, injections and even joint replacement. My major concern was how drugs, supplements and products in general would affect my kidneys. Supplementation was rarely discussed with any of my various doctors. My health concerns led to more stress and fatigue.
The major draw to this program was determining the correct supplements I needed. In the past it was mostly trial and error based on whatever article I would read or whatever was suggested after having a conversation with a relative or friend. And I wanted to avoid prescription medications if possible.
I was so overwhelmed when I started the program. There was so much information and I didn’t know where to start. Aside from supplementation, grew up with and loved southern cooking and after years of eat that way it was hard to change my ways.
My practitioner was Holly Peyor. She was very patient with me. She was always kind, never criticizing. As the program evolved she urged me to stop looking for substitutes. Substitutes for what was used to such as safe chips. I quit looking for substitutes, started moving towards healthy food choices and preparing meals differently. I looked at grocery shopping different than I had before. After being educated through Holly and this program I couldn’t believe the “junk” labeled as food and the type of so called groceries people were buying. I realized this was me before starting this program.
As time went on I got more comfortable with the program. One of the biggest wins for me was when Holly urged me to start gratitude journaling after I was struggling while traveling away from home. I almost gave up, but Holly urged me to continue and not to be so harsh on myself.
Since starting the program, I have improved. I am motivated to continue with my improvement. My stomach issues have improved so much that I’m only bothered when I slip up and eat something with too much refined ingredients or over processed ingredients. My diarrhea and constipation is nonexistent. Now I can go out without stressing. I test my blood sugar at home with good results. Prior to the program I was tested as border pre-diabetic. It feels good to write this overview. This makes me keenly aware of my improvements when compared to where I started.

Gaye,
What a thoughtful reflection. Thank you for taking the time to share not only where you are today, but also where you started.
I was especially touched by what you shared about feeling overwhelmed in the beginning and how Holly encouraged you to keep going, stop striving for perfection, and even begin a gratitude journal. Sometimes those mindset shifts become just as important as the nutritional changes, and it's wonderful to hear how they helped you stay the course.
Reading about your progress, from improved digestion and blood sugar to simply being able to go out without the stress you were carrying before, is incredibly encouraging. Your comment about writing this review helping you recognize how far you've come really says it all. It's easy to forget the starting point until you take a moment to look back.
Thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey. We're excited to see where your continued commitment to your health takes you!

This experience was extremely valuable…
This experience was extremely valuable with flexibility being one of the best features of my journey. The bloodwork was uneventful with a smoother shipping process than I expected but my Senior Health Advisor, Doris is the real gem in all of this. I’m blown away at how knowledgeable and thorough she was with communicating my results. She was just as thoughtful and Christ-centric as she was intelligent. She asked to pray over me and my experience, and I felt consumed with love and respect. Wow, literally wow.
I’ve received some really important information about my health especially my severely low ferritin. Even though Doris created a sense of urgency, I didn’t feel coerced or pressured to continue once I received results. I enjoyed every minute and I feel armored with knowledge to proceed with healing.

I’ve learned so much about health and nutrition in this program that I never heard anywhere before. It wasn’t always easy keeping up with all the information provided and learning to pair the right foods but it was well worth all the work. I’m so grateful to my practitioner Holly Peyer who guided me through the journey and was always there whenever I needed help. Thank you so much!!

You are worth it
Nutritionist and health advisor are great people, good listeners who offer honest feedback.
Less than 3 weeks in and I already have less bloating, less congestion, less pain and fatigue, and better sleep.
After doing the bloodwork, seeing where I was, they created a personalized plan for me. This plan has gotten me on the right track faster then I ever could've hoped.
Response from The Health Institute With Dr. Josh AxeJun 28, 2026

A Great Course That Got Me Off Metformin
This course is excellent and worth the money. It has been thoughtfully designed to cover the essential topics needed to regain your health. I say that based on 35 years as a university professor in which I was required to design courses.
Dr. Axe is excellent in his knowledge and his ability to convey information. The supplements provided with the course were also excellent. In a world where supplements are big business but not necessarily high quality, the supplements were very important.
My counselor was Savannah, and she was amazing. She was very responsive and gave me so many helpful suggestions. I have valued all of her help.
When I started this course, I was doubtful of the claims, but by month 3, my endocrinologist took me off metformin and classified me as pre-diabetic. I am no longer classified as diabetic! I am overjoyed to be off metformin.

I walk a few times a week and also added strength training exercises
