I changed my mind and tried calling and emailing within 1 minute of placing my order. And their process is no one can reach out to you until 3-5 days. So on day 5 I get an email that says the blood kit has already been mailed they can only refund 37 of my $120 that i spent! a total scam artist

Hi Jane,
For this one, since you only have the first name and **can’t confidently identify the account**, I’d use the same approach as the other account-unconfirmed reviews, while specifically acknowledging the cancellation and refund concern:
Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you were frustrated with the process and that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We understand how frustrating it can be to change your mind shortly after placing an order and then feel like you were unable to get the assistance you needed. We would genuinely welcome the opportunity to look into what happened with your order and review your concerns regarding the cancellation and refund.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to confidently identify your account based on the information provided in this review. Since we never want to discuss account-specific details publicly, we’d appreciate the opportunity to connect with you directly so our team can locate your account and look into this further.
Please contact our support team at [email protected] or call 878-295-8339 ext. 1004, and we'd be happy to assist you.

Feeling so irritated that I just spent…
Feeling so irritated that I just spent $30 to sit through an hour-long sales pitch. I've followed Dr. Axe for years and really enjoy his stuff, but I wish I had known his Cellular Health Analysis Zoom was nothing more than a push to get me to pay for a program that is way out of my price range.
Response from The Health Institute With Dr. Josh AxeSep 1, 2026
Hi Stacy,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, especially as someone who has followed and appreciated Dr. Axe’s work.
We understand how disappointing it can be to invest time and money in a consultation and feel that the experience was different from what you expected. Our Cellular Health Analysis consultation is designed to provide an educational review of the information provided and an opportunity to discuss next steps. While some individuals may choose to continue into one of our programs, there is no obligation to do so.
We appreciate you sharing your concerns, as feedback like yours helps us better understand where expectations may not have been clear.
With respect,

Read negative reviews FIRST!
Please read all the negative ratings before submitting any trust or dollars. I sent for kit after paying $97 - got kit on Friday - says to fast and use right away - I could not get support on weekend or website and could not lancet or use kit so did not use or send. Requested refund after failed attempts to use. Will only refund $37 consultation fee. Warning: this is run by Chiropractor, not MD! A third party sends the kit and even if you do not send in for processing, they refuse refund. Guess I am grateful that this so-called Christian, Dr. Axe on TBN and Health Institute refused my request for refund of processing fee unused so I am out $60. Others, from reviews, were out thousands. I got my own extensive bloodwork at MyQuest and JasonHealth.com with “tubes” of blood and professional lab and report instead of pin prick. Be careful - this company is one if many preying on people for money - it is a ruthless business.

Do not give out your health information, it's a sales person, not a health provider.
I had watched some of Dr. Axe videos and saw that he did blood work. The kit came and there were good instructions. It seemed to go smoothly. They ask for your health history and what you would want them to know.
I believed I was getting my blood results and some supplements to correct things that were wrong from a health professional.
It's actually a big sales pitch for an expensive 4 month program (around 8k). If you choose to get your blood work, don't give any of your health information out. The person reviewing your results is just a sales person and they use your health information to manipulate you into joining the program. It was a terrible experience. I have my numbers, but no other information. So I am using other videos from other providers and no longer watching his Dr. Axe's videos.

Cellular Health Analysis…
I paid for a cellular health analysis which they go over based on a questionnaire I completed that's it. Talked for about 40 minutes. He then explained that it would be a 4-month commitment was I willing to do that? And I said well that all depends on what it's involved cost Etc. He said you wouldn't no matter what wouldn't want to commit to 4 months no matter the cost if it meant you might feel better, I said again depends on the cost. He then said well it is an $8,500 commitment if we offered financing would you do it a hard yes or a hard no? I told him a hard no. Pushy.

THE BIGGEST STEAL OF 2026. THEY GOT THAT RIGHT
UPDATE- APPROXIMATELY 2 MONTHS AFTER MY REVIEW THEIR REPLY CAME IN TODAY. More information for those of you who may be considering working with these different names, entities and promotions throughout social media. They have already wasted enough of my time and I will not be calling them to waste more of it!
“The Biggest Steal of 2026” —they got that part right.
I purchased The Health Institute’s $27 “Cellular Health Analysis” after seeing one of these Facebook promotions. I spent approximately an hour completing an extensive online health intake that was supposed to be reviewed before a scheduled one-hour consultation, where I expected to receive an analysis and comprehensive plan based on what I purchased and the information I provided.
That is not what happened.
I scheduled my one hour consultation for noon through their own calendar. Instead, I received a call shortly after 11 a.m. The man who called repeatedly told me I was not a “good fit” and claimed I was looking for bloodwork. I never requested bloodwork and had recently had extensive bloodwork done.
He also insisted that The Health Institute had sent me two confirmation emails, including one that morning. I told him I had received neither and asked him to tell me the email address they were using. He gave me an email address belonging to someone named Mary. I am not Mary.
That was particularly concerning considering I had just provided extensive personal health information through their intake process.
I also asked who the man was in the promotional video I had watched before purchasing. He couldn't tell me. I had not even known I was dealing with a Dr. Josh Axe program and advised that other emails I had sent were never answered. Instead of explaining the promotion I had actually purchased, the caller repeatedly told me about Dr. Axe, claimed he had approximately two million patients and described him as the number-one/top doctor in the country.
I never received the one-hour consultation I purchased. I never received the promised analysis or comprehensive plan based upon the intake I spent approximately an hour completing. I requested a refund.
Since then, I have continued seeing promotionals linked to them advertised heavily on Facebook through different doctor-branded promotions and different offers. I am posting this review because consumers considering these promotions should know exactly what my experience was before paying money and turning over extensive personal health information.

My Mother-in-Law trusted these people…
My Mother-in-Law trusted these people because they are "Christian" but their practices are very disceptive and misleading. The results call for the $25 blood test turns into a high-pressure sales pitch for an $8000 program.
She told them she couldn't afford that so, like any seasoned scam artist, they let her pay just 2,000 now and could pay the rest later. And that she could get a 10% discount, but only if she signed up today! All typical scam tactics.
That said, they are selling a real product, but it's a bunch of overpriced supplements and online courses. My mother in law doesn't even have a computer. My wife took her laptop to her Mom's house to help her with the video consult (which isn't with a dr or even a proper lab tech, but rather some 3rd party person that doesn't work for the company that's trained to read the results and sell you the program.)
My MIL felt so pressured, like the guy convinced her she could die soon without it, she felt she had not other option but to sign up. Now a couple days later, the reality is setting in. She cannot afford the program, she doesn't own a computer and it's all online, and it's all structured so that she cannot cancel or get her money back. They scheduled her next online consult, but my wife cannot be there because she already has prior obligations at that time. So, MIL won't be able to do this consult and they won't let her reschedule.

Extremely Overpriced Nutritional Program
What I was expecting was as advertised below.
Decode your health
with one simple test
Most blood tests give you numbers. We give you answers. Our Cellular Bloodwork Panel looks beyond standard biomarkers to reveal how your cellular health is functioning—but the real value isn’t the data, it’s the review. In a private session, a Senior Health Advisor trained in Dr. Axe’s cellular healing approach helps you understand what your cells are signaling and how cellular healing can address symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, weight resistance, or hormone imbalance.
What I got was a person who did not have proper knowledge to go over blood work. I got a person trained in pitching the program.
They also gave some unrealistic numbers for value.
No answers were given to fix my health on the first call other than to tell me to join the program. Not sure how this is worth $145.00.
Test from home saved me gas money to my doctor’s not sure where $125.00 savings came from.
My story didn’t come first but I did fall for the sales pitch as I was a fan of Dr. Axe from his podcasts. Not sure how this is worth $97.
Email I sent after second bloodwork was never evaluated.
Delayed again with no explanation. I paid over 8000 for a target approach to health based on my blood test. No one can give an answer and this kit had been delayed almost 2 months. This is brining up bad blooded as I had an issue early on and in early December your customer service replied they would reach out within 48 hours and no one reached out.

Reply I received
I’m following up from the voicemail I left today. My name is Amber and ’m a Team Lead here at THI and wanted to personally connect with you.
I want to sincerely apologize for the confusion and frustration regarding your Siphox kit. I completely understand how upsetting the delays and mixed messages have been.
After reviewing your account, it appears that you had already completed your bloodwork prior to signing up for the CHR program. Despite this, a second kit was accidentally sent at sign-up, and that kit was rejected due to an insufficient blood sample, which understandably caused frustration while waiting for a replacement.
To clarify, because you had already completed your bloodwork, the replacement kit isn’t necessary as we already have results, but it’s available for you to use whenever it’s most helpful for reviewing your progress. The replacement kit you’ll be receiving now can be used at the end of your CHR program at no extra cost or while you are in your 2 free months of concierge after graduating CHR.
I also want to clarify regarding the screenshot you shared from the program sign-up page. While it may seem like repeated bloodwork is required, the bloodwork is just one piece of the overall program. It provides insights to guide discussions with your practitioner Sydney, but the program itself is not based solely on bloodwork, and participants do not need to retest multiple times.
Another misleading fact is stated below. They stated It is not a one size fits all. True they put you in one of their 3 programs they have so it is not personalized as stated. Most people suffering have more than one issue to resolve.
Nothing in this program is proprietary. You do not talk to any doctors. There is no direct line you can call anyone on. It seems like you get a lot with the calls but there is nothing in this program you can't find on you tube. Is organizing this info worth $8000? The meals are good, but would you pay $8000 for a cookbook?
The program all boils down to these points: don't eat pork, dairy, sugar, or gluten. Get plenty of sleep, practice gratitude, don't eat raw, get plenty of water and don't drink or eat anything cold.
They supply the supplements for the program, but it is from their supplement companies,
You do get a couple of calls from a nutritional adviser and a facebook group to get advise from
After researching this subject, you can get a nutritional advisor or even a Natural HealthCare doctor for cheaper than $8000.
Also I had issues with the loan agency they use, ClarityPay. I sent an email to claritypay and Health Institute customer service to cancel my loan within 3 days a no one could get me a copy of the paperwork I signed. I didn't have enough money to hire a lawyer so I went through the program.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.
We understand your concerns around the bloodwork process, communication, program expectations, and overall investment. We also recognize that there were points in your experience that caused frustration, and we appreciate the opportunity to review and address those concerns.
We do want to clarify a few points about the program for anyone reading this review. The Health Institute's programs are designed to provide more than a nutrition plan or supplement recommendations. Participants receive educational resources, live educational sessions and Q&As, community support, and access to a structured framework that addresses nutrition, lifestyle, and other areas of wellness. Participants also work one-on-one with an assigned practitioner who takes the time to understand their individual concerns, goals, and needs and provides personalized guidance throughout the program. While participants are enrolled in a specific program based on their needs and goals, the guidance and support within that program are personalized to the individual.
We also understand that the investment will not feel worthwhile to everyone, and we respect that perspective. Our goal is to provide participants with education, support, and practical tools they can continue using throughout their health journey.
Because your review includes concerns specific to your account and experience, we don't want to discuss those details publicly. If there are still unresolved questions or concerns, please contact our support team at [email protected] or 878-295-8339 ext. 1004, and we'd be happy to continue the conversation.
Thank you again for sharing your feedback. We take it seriously and will continue looking for ways to improve communication and the overall student experience.

The Health Institute Team
