This company is crooked. Customer service takes forever to get ahold of and they have no problem hanging up in your face when they claim to be “checking your account”. It took 3 tries and 20 minute waits each time to get someone to stay on the phone for 2 minutes to address cancelling a card ordered on a weekend. No refunds even if the physical cards haven’t been sent out and the rudest customer service agents that have no ability to actually provide customer service.

I normally understand the pain customer service teams go through, but the Gift Card Shop customer service team is the worst, rudest, and least helpful team I've ever interacted with. It ended with customer service yelling at me that they were not yelling at me and telling me there was nothing they could do to fix my issue - that appears to be caused by their website. Will definitely avoid using this service in the future and inform others to avoid as well. Feels like the friction and pain could be intentional.

Imagine my surprise when I checked my bank account and found a $500 gift card purchase through The Gift Card Shop THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. According to my credit union they should be able to stop the transaction as long as the card hasn't been used. I called the number on the website and was told that they can't track their transactions. I asked to speak with a supervisor (who sounded a lot like the same person). When I pushed for them to cancel the transaction I was told it was impossible and they disconnected the call. This is a complete scam.

I am truly surprised the Gift Card Shop is still in operation - First, I was given a Vanilla Visa card for Christmas - when I tried to use it It was totally depleted and when I called I was given the run around - Secondly - unknowingly purchased two gifts on two occasions weeks apart - the PIN number was exposed on these cards so I checked them before sending them out - both were depleted of funds within the same hr. When calling customer service - I was asked all sorts of personal information (ie. date of birth, social security) gave phony info then I reversed lookup the customer service number on back of card and it came up scam —‘DON,T USE THIS COMPANY - save yourself the aggravation and money

Multiple fraudulent charges from the company on my bank account and hundreds upon hundreds of dollars missing. Sat on hold with the company for many many hours and have yet to hear a person on the other end. Don't know what kind of shady scams they are running here but I do know they stole lots of money from me. I would stay very far away from the place.

Do not make my mistake and order from this company ever... You will never receive your gift card. it has been almost a month now and getting refunded is impossible. I keep calling and they keep telling me to wait. They are NOT LEGIT.

Absolutely no customer service at all. They don't answer their phones, it has been 2 days now. What a joke.

Do not go here! I bought a giftcard for Christmas 2021 purchased 12/24/21 as the company where he wanted boots did not have online. A $150 giftcard, he went to use it and it was a zero balance. He called, and all of a sudden the 16 digit number disappeared. Customer Care in Georgia, supposedly said purchases were made in gas station in Canada. We live in Texas, and plan on not going to Canada anytime soon nor in the past. They said no worries, we don't know why the 16 digit number in the link all of a sudden errored and disappeared, but just put in the file the reference number. 15 emails later, multiple calls with the run around, no responses from customer care after sending repeatedly their form. We are STILL without a refund or new giftcard. I think personally an employee us getting this stuff, as too convenient the "hacking" of their email nit ours with no resolution..,8 months later. They jerp no records, resend over and over the same stuff and give us the run around every time. I will continue reporting them until I see a resolution.
