DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY If I could give minus stars I would! I ordered a card and it said it was delivered but we did not receive the card. Working at a bank for 40 years I know you can de-activate a card that has not been used. They acknowledged that the card has not been used but they refused to deactivate and send another one or to refund my money! THEY ARE CROOKS.

-star: This is the worse company I have seen. What a scam. I am in my second call to try to get my card sent out or money back. They were quick to charge my account, but that’s about it. No card today; I turning them in to the attorney general’s office and anywhere else I can to get them shut down. Do not order from the gift card shop!

This company is a complete scam and I don't understand why they haven't been shut down yet. I bought an e-gift card and it was declined at every merchant that I attempted to use it at. I tried calling the company that the gift card originated from and they gave me the same lie that "The Gift Card Shop" gave me, which said it declined for security purposes.

I ordered a Visa debit gift card for a special person in my life. I’m positive I entered all the information correctly, yet when I received an email from The Gift Card Shop, two digits in the address were flipped. Instead of showing ‘21’ the address on the email showed ‘12’. I called The Gift Card Shop customer service and was told nothing could be done even though it’s merely a computer entry. I decided to just let go of the issue. I don’t know if the card will eventually go to the right person or if it’ll go and be used by whoever gets it. My advice to whoever reads this is NEVER use The Gift Card Shop for anything. Whoever runs it doesn’t care about its customers.

Ordered a digital gift card for my granddaughter through gift card shop. I paid using my PayPal account for my protection. I was given a order number and then the next email I received said my order was cancelled. Trying to find out why it was cancelled was very vague. Calling the number to talk to someone was even more difficult. After about 20 minutes I found a way to get through to live person and they said there was a discrepancy in my information but couldn't tell me what it was and then told me to resubmit my order but don't use PayPal I told them this seems kind of sketchy and the purpose of using PayPal was they didn't get my card information and told them I felt the company was a scam. PayPal sent me a transaction email but when I went on my account there is no record of a transaction from them. So hopefully it ends there. I went to Vanilla and ordered a card using my PayPal account to pay with no problems. Don't Use This Company

I sent a gift card to a friend. The gift card didn't work and The Gift Card Shop wouldn't do anything at all to help resolve the case. It was valued at $100. All they kept saying was that I needed to call the number on the gift card, which I didn't have because I had given it to someone else. They took a case number, promised someone would call, and no one ever did. This happened multiple times. I finally called again and had a long, angry conversation with no resolution at all. Gift Card Shop did absolutely nothing to even attempt to resolve the problem - just kept saying it wasn't their fault.

They take your money but you do not get a working gift card. Basically they get your money and the other person can’t use the card and there is literally zero customer service. You have to get the credit card company to put it in as fraud so you get the money back.

This is a terrible company. I attempted to order a gift card, using a company credit card. The transaction was denied. I tried several more times, same result. I contacted customer service and was told it might be because I had an unusual email address. This does not make sense. After 24 hours with no resolution, and multiple charges pending on my credit card, I called again. I was told I would have to order the gift card through one of their retail locations because the transaction was deemed a security risk. I asked to speak to a supervisor, was placed on hold for 40 minutes before I hung up. I would never recommend this company.
