I bought my daughter a physical GiftCardShop.com card for her to choose her own gift card online. She tried to purchase a card multiple times and kept getting an error message that order could not be processed. She called customer service twice and got nowhere, so I called them and had the same experience she did. They gave runaround that the card was really a "chooseyourcard.com" and we need to go to that website to redeem, and although there was nothing telling us that was the site to go to (the card specifically says to go to TheGiftCardShop.com), we tried that site and it said the card was not valid. I finally got a "supervisor" who put the order in for a Target e-giftcard and my daughter received the gift card within about 15 min. But, know that this place is shady!!! I don't know if the company was set up to give people the runaround so they'd just give up and then they have all this money... but this is no way a legit business operates. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!

SCAM! Was given a gift card as a gift and the email is unable to open. I tried to contact the customer support and they were absolutely no help. Never purchase through here!

Purchased a gift card on April 26th 2024. As part of a meal train For a friend who just had a baby. I didn’t have her email, so I had it delivered. After 2 weeks, the card was never delivered and I was never notified that it wasn’t delivered. I called them and the customer service was horrible, but she said that they would contact me on Monday or Tuesday to tell me what my options are. It’s Thursday now and I haven’t heard from them, so I called and they told me that my case was closed and that I will not be receiving a refund. DO NOT buy from them!!!!

Sure appears to be a SCAM!! Purchased a Door Dash gift card for someone to be sent to their email through the Meal Train website. Recipient received an email but everytime they tried to use the card, DoorDash said, 'whoops, unable to redeem gift card". My card was charged for the gift card value, however. The outsourced Customer Service rep said they can't refund card value to me on this "closed loop, specific vender card" and said user had to use specific browsers, incognito windows, etc - all suspicious recommendations. Will never use this company again.

I purchased a gift card for 50 dollars on-line, and decided to get it sent to my email. I had no problem with that, so I waited and about 20 mins later I got the link, I open the link blank screen nothing zero no gift card. Then I decided to call which led to me talking to someone who had no idea what they were doing, so I asked to cancel it and they told me it was too late, so they put me on hold for 45 mins, and the person told me they couldn't help me and that the department they were trying to connect me with were to busy. The person also did not tell me that the call center is closed on Saturdays.So I tried again last Friday and so I explained to the person on the phone what happen and the Moron kept sending me the email for how much I paid and the order number on it. I WILL NEVER USE THESE CROOKS AGAIN!!!!!! you make have taken 53 dollars from but you will never get another penny from me again CROOKS.

The cards are not accepted anywhere! When you try to use the card it declines even though it's active. When you call customer service they tell you to keep trying to use it until you find somewhere that accepts it. Absolute scam rip-off. I requested refund and you have to call and submit a claim and then in 3 WEEKS a refund will be MAILED to you if approved. This place should be shut down.

I called customer care because a hold was placed on my gift card, which prevented me from making any purchases. The representative would consistently call me a different name even after I corrected him several times. I hate this place. Thanks Riley

They are CROOKS OUTSOURCED Customer Service
