I, too, like all the other reviewers before me, received a card from The Gift Card Shop as a birthday gift. Unfortunately, I also went through attempts to follow directions to redeem a card, but was unsuccessful. "An Error has occurred, please contact customer care." was the message that followed each attempt to log on. So I called Customer Care at 833-414-9427, spoke to Steve, who verified the amount on the purchase, but could not help with the error message I kept receiving. He placed me on hold for technical support and I waited for over half an hour, but no one picked up from technical support. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE CARDS FROM THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!!! TELL OTHERS TO AVOID THIS PURCHASE!!!

I had a terrible experience with this website. I purchased a gift card and paid for it, but never received the card via email as promised. Despite multiple attempts to contact their customer service, I received no response. This site is clearly a scam, taking money without delivering the product. I strongly advise others to avoid this website to prevent losing their money as I did.

I got this gift card for Christmas and I can't use, supposed to is coming in the mail and I'm still waiting for it. I follow all the instructions that the card has on it. SCAM!!!!!!

Bought my sister a $100 gift card for her birthday. Turns out, she cannot use it, no matter how hard she tries. She brought it to many stores, each time it was declined. I called for a refund. After wasting much time, and insisting on a refund, they agreed to give me one—in the form of a check sent in the mail. The customer service is absolutely terrible, and tried to argue with me, insisting that my sister’s card works. I have doubts I will ever receive the check in the mail.

Ordered card 1 month ago. Assured me that it would be there in 24 hours. Never happened, called 4 times, same song 2nd verse, you'll get it in 24 hours. Now I got a Mgr when I asked for a refund. He had to request the refund and will call me back

I ordered a gift card and never received it. I called customer service and they told me that someone would reach out to me within 2 business days and they gave me a reference number. Based on the reviews here, I am not hopeful that they will call me. I tried filing a complaint with BBB but this company is not listed in their directory. My next step is to file a complaint with PayPal and see if I can get a refund. This company seems like a SCAM. Don't buy from them!!!

Bought a virtual card for $50, sent to email, all fine. Click link in email to get card, leads to site that gives an error. Unable to even begin to access the card, customer service keeps telling me to click on a link in the email that does not exist. Wasted my money.

I would leave zero stars if I could. This company falsely advertises that you can use the card online by using your home billing address, but that is not true. The zip code won't match. When you call them for help, they tell you tough cookies, use it somewhere else. When you ask for a refund, because they lied about how it works, they refuse to issue the refund to the original form of payment. They instead send you a check that will take a month to arrive. So yeah, spend your money literally anywhere else.
