This was horrific and heartbreaking if I could give no stars i would first of all they didn't deliver a satisfactory product and guaranteed it then spoke of policies to which I was never informed of in writing or email then promoted and made promises that never happened OH WAIT IT GETS WORST I paid for a backend portal to which I cannot use not even to put pictures of my products up then was told I must upgrade to be able to this I was asked to pay more money for a product I never could use to make money on in fact I have to pay another website developer to somehow fix my problems i have emails texts messages and receipts proposals all of that never once mentioned needing to upgrade crazy thing is my website is live with no products I paid over$1,000 total WHAT A RIP OFF in this time we're living in trying find ways to make ends meet trying to pursue dreams while we're in a recession and pandemic to have people from another country take our hard earned AMERICAN MONEY AND FEEL THEY CAN JUST GET AWAY WITH IT IS ABSOLUTELY 💯 CRAZY PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS POST I CAN PROVIDE ENOUGH PROOF TO MAKE YOU THINK TWICE BEFORE DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY EVERY PERSON I SPOKE TO HAD A FAKE AMERICAN NAME WITH A PAKISTANI ACCENT ALSO SOMEONE FROM THIS COMPANY TRIED TO SIGN INTO MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT AND AS YOU KNOW GOOGLE HAS YOUR LOCATION TIME AND PHONE INFORMATION PLEASE BEFORE YOY PUT ANY MONEY UP TRY AMERICAN FIRST ALSO BE ADVISED I INQUIRED FOR A WEBSITE DEVELOPER ON BARK THEY RESPONDED. This is a company worthy of a federal investigation. The way they work and their standards are questionable. They never did the job I asked for. And I was transferred to different project managers in a few days for no apparent reason. They will force you to accept what they propose, not what you are looking to build. They will try to tire you, and to make you give up, so that over time you consider it better to lose your money than to continue working with them. (a very old method of dishonest companies). As a result of my experience with this company, I decided to file a claim with my bank to get my money back. In a few days my bank returned the money to me. I blocked all communication with this company. However, today I received a suspicious attempt to access my email account and later a call from this company claiming that they had won the case and that I should pay the rest of the money. After hanging up the phone, I called my bank and explained what happened. My bank told me that they did not know why Thedesignszone made those statements in that call because the case was closed in my favor. I have reason to believe that this company mixes regular activities with illicit activities. Read all the reviews, not just the positive ones or the ones that suit your expectations. You will see what I'm talking about. What you can do: 1- Do not hire this company. 2- If you still want to make the mistake of hiring this company, do not pay the full amount. The fair thing is to pay half and when your project is delivered you pay the rest. 3- Make sure the invoice is issued by thedesignszone. The charge on your statement must be also made by thedesignszone. If it appears as creativewriterlife or any other name, thedesignszone could scam you without consequences for them, only you will lose money and you will not have tools to defend yourself. 4- If after 2 months there is no significant progress in your project, simply give up and claim your money. put a claim in your bank before 90 days. It is the term you have so that your bank can help you. 5- If you still went ahead and lost your money and time, you can file a claim with IC3 (Interner Crime Complaint Center) IC3 dot gov that will contribute to more eyes on this company. 6- Write your opinion on all the opinion sites you can, more people will be alert to such danger. 7- Do not give much personal data to this company, these people work through intimidation. I'll keep updating soon ... Update 11/26/2021 I have discovered another way in which this company circumvents the tools that users have to show the true face of fraudulent companies. I put this review of the company thedesignszone dot com 3 weeks ago. When they billed me, they did not do it under the name of the designszone but under the name of creativewriterlife dot com. So they appealed to truspilot about my review, truspilot demanded a screenshot that clearly shows the billing of the designszone. But the invoice I have is not an invoice made by thedesignszone but from creativewriterlife. You have to be alert. If the invoice that thedesignszone sends you does not appear with the name thedesignszone you must to cancel immediately. The reason? simple: the invoice that thedesignszone sends you does not appear with the name thedesignszone. if you dont cancel they will scam you. And they will be able to use the terms and conditions of trustpilot in their favor to eliminate your review. its been 5 months since we embarked Design Zone to develop our website, at the beginning, their communication was superb, later and with specific vendors of our choice on we embarked them to book our domain name and hosting services , there was no time frame set for developing our website, I said take the time you need but keep it reasonable and deliver a good job with no rush around, now there communication is almost at a zero rate I have to send message after message to get a response after 5-10 days, at later message, I said if I'm not getting a response I will badly rate you, then they responded setting 15 May for delivery and vague answer about the domain and hosting , so far nothing is delivered and no update of whatsoever, they neglect your requests over & over again, thus I rate them at 1 star for now till I get the site delivered 5 days from now UPDATE • On 12 January 2021 Fadi’s Furniture signed an agreement employing the Design zone to develop their website total project cost agreed was $1999 • Within the aforesaid agreement, the contractor the Design Zone, promised Top Level Domain with HTTP: • The Timeline to complete the entire project was 20-25 business days [Reference signed agreement • On 3/10/2021 As part of the agreement Fadi’s Furniture asked the contractor to purchase the domain name fadisfurniture.com from Network Solution and register is for 3 years On 11/3/2021 Fadi’s Furniture paid for the domain registration the mount of $560, receipt of the payment is available to share • As we haven’t get a confirmation of purchasing the domain name or the access to its existence or any registration nor password information On 4/29/2021 we asked the Design Zone about the purchase of the domain • On a phone conversation with Jay Martin of the Design Zone who took over from Dave he admitted that the domain name was purchased and registered to some other company they know, and when told that this is a hijacking and breach of trust, he addressed an email asking Fadi’s Furniture to pay the reminder of the project payment $800 although they haven't finished it , in order to get the domain transfer to Fadi’s Furniture! • 10th of August the Design Zone was asked to pay back the $1199 initial payment & the domain registration payment of $560 as its proven overtime that they are unable to deliver the website nor the domain registration as agreed • On the same day 10 August, the design zone refuse to payback claiming that the terms and conditions has been revised on their website • On attachments 10 , 11 & 12 the correspondence back and forth Fadi’s Furniture advising the design zone that the signed agreement never change and whatever they publish on their website is irrelevant to the agreement between the two parties whom signed on specific terms and conditions that should be honored by both parties and our demand for the refund is based on the signed agreement terms and conditions Fadi’s Furniture & Mattress Inc have requested the refund as the contractor the Design Zone has breached the contract in many ways: 1. The contract specified the completion with 20-25 business days from January the 12, where in fact Fadi’s Furniture keep pushing the contractor to finish the basic website functions throughout August which means 7 months from the commencement day Namely 173 business days! And the website is still less than 10 static pages filled with nonfunctional links 2. The Design Zone hijacked the domain name (fadisfurniture.com) we purchased through them assuming they are our trusted web-developer and shamelessly registered the our domain name to a third party, and later on refusing to reinstate the domain name to Fadi’s Furniture unless we pay them more money as transfer fees 3. using online domain registration search, it clearly appears the name is registered to a firm called namecheap.com and not to Fadi's Furniture although its paid in full upfront by Fadi's Furniture
