DO NOT ENGAGE
I read the negative reviews and thought it wouldn’t happen to me—but it did. I was offered a “complete” revamp and new look for my site for $150+ tax. I gave the developer creative freedom, only mentioning two specific things I wanted changed. What I received after a week was not a new site, but 5 screenshots of my existing site with only very small tweaks—like slightly curved images or moved pictures. I was surprised this was presented as a “revamp.” When the developer did apply one of my requested changes, the desktop version looked fine but the mobile version was broken. When I asked for it to be fixed, I was told it would cost extra. From my perspective, a proper web redesign should always include both desktop and mobile versions, not require additional payment. After I expressed my frustration and loss of confidence and trust, the company later contacted me offering to fix the mobile version “free of charge.” When I declined, I was told they would involve their legal team. This was my experience, and I want others to be aware before making a decision.
