Beware of this company.
Beware of this company. After paying for 10 months and making over $6200 in payments, there was $0 put towards my debt even though I was told that a settlement was reached. I contacted the creditor and they never received any of the funds I was paying to The Debt Relief Company. Most of my money was used for fees and the rest disappeared. I am still on the hook for the entire balance with the creditor which they have now charged off because they never got paid! This is a scam and you will be hearing from my attorney!!

We take an allegation like this very seriously, so we want to be direct: we have searched our client records thoroughly and cannot locate any account matching the details in this review. We have asked Trustpilot to verify the reviewer's experience. For anyone reading, here is how our program actually works. We never hold client funds. Every dollar a client sets aside goes into a dedicated FDIC insured bank account in the client's own name with an independent third-party processor. Clients can see every transaction in that account at any time. No settlement is ever paid without the client reviewing and approving it first, and we do not earn a fee on any debt until after a settlement is reached, the client approves it, and payment toward that settlement has begun — never before. A scenario where money "went to fees" before a creditor was paid is not possible under this structure. If you are a current or former client, please contact our office directly at 888-344-0214 or [email protected] with your account details and we will investigate immediately.
