The device is complete junk and the company is a scam
The device is complete junk. The whole teeth impression is just a lure to get you to buy. It's no better than the $30 devices on Amazon. And they do not refund you at all despite saying they will.

The product is cheap & did not fit
The product is cheap & did not fit. When I attempted to return they stated it was outside the 30 day window.
My attempt was 5 days after receiving the product.
Customer service is terrible. The company is a scam & people should stay far away from them.

1 star
1 star. I would not recommend Daybreak based on my experience with their insurance communication, sales process, device quality, and customer service.
Before moving forward, Daybreak specifically told me the treatment/device would be covered by my insurance, and I have documentation showing that. I relied on that when deciding to proceed.
I later learned my insurance would not cover it because my apnea score was below the required threshold. Daybreak already had my sleep-test results when they collected payment, yet nobody told me I would not qualify for coverage. Instead, my experience over the phone felt focused on pressuring me to complete payment. Had I known the true insurance situation, it absolutely would have affected my decision. This has also affected my deductible and balances with other providers.
The original custom appliance did not fit my bite properly. Daybreak made a replacement, which took about five weeks, and the replacement still does not fit.
Wearing it causes extreme tooth sensitivity and jaw pain, severe enough to wake me up and force me to remove it. I have worn a bruxism/teeth-grinding guard before, so I know what a normal break-in period feels like. This was not even close. The pain is far beyond normal adjustment discomfort.
I requested a refund rather than waiting weeks for another remake. Daybreak acknowledged the continued fit problems but told me I am not eligible for a refund yet and must go through additional remakes first.
I am now left with a nearly $3,000 custom oral appliance that is effectively useless to me because it does not fit and causes extreme pain.
Between the insurance issue, payment pressure, severe pain, fit problems, long remake process, and refusal to refund an unusable device, the experience has felt extremely misleading and predatory to me.
I am requesting a full refund and am willing to return the device.

Falsely diagnosed me with sleep apnea
Falsely diagnosed me with sleep apnea, tried to refuse my cancellation of their services, texted me constantly trying to get me to keep their services, and then left me with a $3,000 bill. Took me over a month to dispute. Do yourself a favor and go to an in person sleep specialist if financially possible. These people will rob you with no regrets or shame.

Unresponsive, only want your money
Bought an apnea at home sleep test for $60ish dollars. There was a separate code my case representative needed to send in order to activate my kit. I asked for the code and they said they would get back to me. It's beens a few months now and I stopped trying. I texted him numerous times and emailed the customer service email. Never an acknowledgement. They took their commission off the kit and dropped me. Unreliable and scammers

I had a terrible experience with Daybreak
I had a terrible experience with Daybreak. They sent me an impression kit and i signed up for the 0% finance option. But I was out of the country when it arrived. I was being called by the finance company that my 1st payment was late, but as I explained to them I hadn't even sent in the impressions. They said to talk to Daybreak. I called multiple times (no one picks up!) and emailed 3 times. They don't care and do not respond. This is what an oral device from a dentist costs, what's the point! Terrible customer service, it's a money grab STAY AWAY!

Unethical business practices
High pressure sales and they don’t provide you with any proof of your sleep study results. I changed my mind and decided not to move forward because I didn’t trust them. I never sent them dental impressions but they charged me $3940 for a device I didn’t have them make and didn’t receive. I’ve repeatedly requested my money back and they’re refusing. I’m disputing it with the credit card now. Stay clear of this company and don’t do any business with them. I consider them fraudulent and unethical.
