Coming from Germany, I wanted to open a US bank account but wasn’t really sure how complicated the whole process would be as a non-US resident. Chris from The Credit Genius helped me get everything organized before my trip to the US. Communication was great from the beginning and he made sure I knew exactly what to expect and what I needed to bring. There was actually a small hiccup when I arrived at the bank. The banker I originally had my appointment with was unexpectedly unavailable. Not exactly what you want to hear when you’ve traveled all the way from Germany. Luckily, someone else at the bank was able to help me out. I could also reach Chris immediately, so everything was sorted out without any real issues. That’s something I really appreciated. Ich bin seit rund vier Monaten Kunde bei Christopher Gurski und kann The Credit Genius uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Zur Vorgeschichte: Ich hatte bei einem anderen Anbieter ein Paket aus US-LLC, ITIN, Kreditkarten und Kontoeröffnung gekauft. Der Prozess zog sich über ein Jahr, die ITIN-Beantragung scheiterte in dieser Zeit dreimal und ich wurde permanent vertröstet. Am Ende stand ich mit einer LLC, einem Konto bei einer Neo-Bank und praktisch wertlosen Debitkarten da – aber ohne ITIN. Der Anbieter war leider weder kompetent noch bemüht, die Probleme zu lösen. Hintergrund ist die geplante US-Expansion eines bestehenden Unternehmens aus Deutschland mit über 40 Mio. Euro Jahresumsatz. Teile des Angebots sollen in den USA im Selbstzahler- und Enterprise-Markt vertrieben werden – entsprechend brauchte ich eine saubere Struktur und keine weiteren Verzögerungen (natürlich in Absprache mit deutschen Steuergesellschaften). Very accurate care with attention to our needs. Extensive advice, a lot of information, sometimes a bit too much in advance without being able to process it sufficiently. Very hard to realise things quickly, which also worked out very well. Account opening was easy, personal support and translation, the establishment of the US-LLC was fast thanks to good preparation, the credit cards took a very long time due to the process. Flew over from Germany to Miami to finally get into US banking and credit. Chris, the founder of The Credit Genius assisted me the whole way through and accompanied me at the bank appointments. Very smooth experience right from the start. We started with the ITIN, approved in about 6 weeks. After that the bank side was the easy part because Chris had everything lined up before I even landed, including the preparation and intros to bankers who actually deal with foreigners regularly. Left with two bank accounts from major US banks, as well as three US credit cards directly approved even though I’m a non-resident. We also successfully did the Amex Global Transfer so my German Amex history carried over to the US. I'm now in top shape for credit building too, score already at 710 out of 850. If you're considering this, pay attention to who you actually hire. Chris is in Miami legally on an E-2 visa and does this as his real brick and mortar business, not some online "we'll set up your US LLC“ service. Being there in person and knowing the right people truly made the difference. Would recommend to anyone who wants to set this up properly, especially with an international background.

Darüber hinaus konnte ich bereits 2 US Personal Credit Cards erfolgreich genehmigt bekommen. Während einer persönlichen Begleitung in Miami wurden zudem sowohl ein Personal als auch ein Business Checking Account bei Chase und Truist eröffnet. Chris is the real deal. Super experienced, well connected, and made the whole process of getting tapped into the U.S. banking and credit system way smoother than I expected. He helped me get set up with my ITIN, Chase, Truist, and overall gave me a real banking network from the moment I got to Miami. I was even able to get set up with Chase Private Client right away and connected directly with the regional bank manager, which was a huge value add. A couple weeks later, I got approved for the Chase Sapphire card, which is especially helpful when you’re spending heavily on ads. Beyond that, Chris is just great to work with. Super chill, knows his stuff, and genuinely makes the whole process feel easy. Dope guy and someone I’d absolutely recommend if you’re trying to get your U.S. setup done properly.

We were able to get a chase sapphire reserve card within 4 months, and a 680 credit score. Secured relationship with high volume business private banker. Even with a lower volume business, I believe we could have got it, but it would have taken longer. We now how US credit cards and that's a game changer.
